>Why the difficulty? What steps could we take to become an agent? I might take computer sciences so I can be geared towards the cyber division…
Problem is most of the fed govt is still run by Obama people, including office of personnel, so if you are a known Trump supporter you are going to have a black mark against you from the get go unless you get pushed through by the White House itself.
Jobs that require a security clearance, such as every one that anons here would be interested in, are much much harder to get into in the current environment.
The entire "security" apparatus is more fucked up than just about any other part of the government. It has as much veracity as professional wrestling.
Bear in mind, when Strzok was reassigned for suspicion of criminal activity, they put him in fucking HR
Strzok, Brennan, Abedin, Rice, Clinton and the entire merry band of Obama-era criminals all maintained their security clearances to this very day.
So you can bet your ass that if you have a whiff of being on the Trump train you will never get anywhere near having a clearance until the whole thing is burned down and rebuilt.
