I tried making a sneaky exit a couple times when everyone was focused on Charlie. At the TP memorial and recently at the medal of freedom event. Always seem to come back once the guilt of going AWOL from my oath starts hitting, and there are other indications too, like I'm being called back.

I wanted something to make an exit like the end of the new Mad Max, where he just disappears into the crowd when everyone else is focused on the real heroes. Thought it was time, you know. Was frustrated and shit too at the time when I tried doing it. It's like… I can't describe it, like I'm being called back to the board, pulled back sort of thing. It's weird. So I go with my gut, swallow my pride after making an ass of myself, and get back to it right where I left off.

Yeah. Can't say for certain, but I'm willing to bet him and I would agree on most things. The one subject he would kick my ass on would be the bible, but I think I could hold my own well enough, I just went through it, still fresh in my head and all cocky because of it. KEK.
