Scientists reveal all the strange behaviors of interstellar visitor 3I/ATLAS that deepen the mystery of its origins

Updated: 12:27 EDT, 25 October 2025

The interstellar object traveling through our solar system has just made its most startling move yet, appearing to reverse thrust as it disappeared behind our sun.

It's the latest in a growing list of puzzling clues that some scientists have claimed prove that the object dubbed 3I/ATLAS is not just an ordinary comet from a distant solar system.

Harvard physicist Avi Loeb has been among the leading voices maintaining that there is enough evidence to say 3I/ATLAS has shown signs of being guided by an unknown intelligence.

The next clue could emerge on October 29, when the object is projected to reach its closest point to the sun.

Loeb told the Daily Mail that if 3I/ATLAS comes out of this blind spot in a completely different place than gravity was taking it, it would be a clear sign the object was artificial and likely powered by some kind of engine.

Most astronomers have been reluctant to consider the possibility of an extraterrestrial origin, noting that the space rock has shown the classic signs of being a comet, including having a tail and a coma, a large cloud of gas and dust surrounding it.

Previous studies throughout the summer have concluded that 3I/ATLAS's strange chemical makeup, rich in carbon dioxide gas, is merely a result of forming in a solar system completely foreign to our own.

However, Loeb contends that those in the scientific community who have dismissed the more extraordinary possibilities are more concerned with being right and avoiding criticism than alerting the public to a potentially world-changing event.

'Here we are talking about a potential for something that could affect humanity in the future in a dramatic way, and so you shouldn't apply the same approach of being as conservative as possible,' Loeb explained.

'I don't want to be their therapist, but they're trying to obviously protect their reputation, not take risks, and also pretend that they know the answer in advance,' he added.

Daily Mail reached out to several scientists who have been studying the alleged comet, but did not receive a response to our request to comment on the latest findings.

A study in August detected an unusual nickel plume from the object. Unlike natural comets, which always emit nickel alongside iron, 3I/ATLAS showed the metallic element without any detectable iron.

The new study, published by astrophysicists in Chile, found that 3I/ATLAS is shedding nickel at roughly five grams per second and cyanide at 20 grams per second, with both rising sharply as the object moves closer to the sun.

Researchers noted that the mechanisms driving these emissions are not typical of natural cometary processes.

Scans of 3I/ATLAS, released the same month, suggested it is likely an unusual comet that's much smaller than it previously appeared and is unexpectedly releasing loads of carbon dioxide gas (CO2).

The large amount of CO2 pouring out, about 940 trillion molecules per second, was a major finding, suggesting 3I/ATLAS formed in a star system that doesn't look anything like ours, where comets are much different than the ones we see orbiting our sun.

Based on all the light coming from 3I/ATLAS, scientists originally suspected the object was more than 12 miles in diameter/ However, NASA's most powerful telescopes have cut that estimate down to 1.7 miles.

The comet seemed larger because over 99 percent of the light observed came from a large, bright cloud of dust and gas surrounding it, called a coma. 3I/ATLAS is currently about 298 million miles from Earth.

Not only is the interstellar object much smaller, but a new study by NASA's SPHEREx telescope discovered that 3I/ATLAS is releasing a large amount of CO2 and is covered in water ice.

This month, NASA's Perseverance rover on the Martian surface sent back photos of the object, showing what appears to be a massive cylindrical shape.

Stargazers on social media shared color-enhanced images of the object, dubbed 3I/ATLAS, which showed the interstellar visitor having a green glow as it passed Mars and heads closer to the sun.

Loeb analyzed the Perseverance rover's photos by calculating its distance, speed, and camera settings.

>>23772117

According to his initial study, Loeb was not convinced that 3I/ATLAS is actually a massive cylindrical object, noting that the strange shape might have been a trick of the rover's camera stretching out its shape.

He explained that the apparent cylinder from the rover's 'Navcam' was likely caused by the camera stacking hundreds of images of 3I/ATLAS over a period of about 10 minutes, making it look more like a log than a ball.

The professor added that 3I/ATLAS is likely smaller and rounder, but still massive, with a potential diameter of more than 28 miles across.

More than five studies, with dozens of researchers involved, have concluded that the object is just a unique, natural comet, which many other scientists have been echoing for months.

Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer and astrophysicist working at the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, previously claimed: 'It is clearly a natural comet; suggestions to the contrary are laughed at by people who are actual comet experts.'

UCLA research David Jewitt recently agreed with the comet theory, publishing a paper that explained the object's shifting tail as it moved behind the sun as normal cometary behavior.

An international team of researchers also concluded that the increasing dust activity around 3I/ATLAS, its changing color, and apparent lack of a tail were due to our perspective from Earth at the time of the scans, not the comet acting strangely.

First spotted on July 1, 3I/ATLAS is just the third recorded object to travel through our solar system from another point in the Milky Way galaxy.

The other two, Oumuamua in 2017 and the comet Borisov in 2019, were nowhere near the size and mass of 3I/ATLAS, which Loeb has calculated to be at least 3.1 miles long and 33 billion tons.

Loeb explained that the object's size is yet another clue that it may not be a comet, as there isn't enough rocky material in interstellar space to have created such a structure naturally.

'It's bigger than the asteroid that killed a dinosaur 66 million years ago, and such objects are extremely rare. It would have been on the order of 10 million times more massive than Oumuamua and 10,000 times more massive than Borisov,' Loeb revealed.

However, the scientist said his first clue that something wasn't adding up with 3I/ATLAS was the sheer brightness of the object while it was still far away from our planet and the sun.

The supposed comet's backward 'anti-tail,' its strange course taking it close to three planets, and its unique chemical combination of nickel and carbon dioxide have all contributed to a growing belief that 3I/ATLAS is not a floating space rock.

Loeb noted that one oddity would be explainable, but he calculated that there were no fewer than eight anomalies with this space rock.

The scientist calculated that the odds of these strange occurrences happening at the same time were one in 10,000,000,000,000,000 (that's 10quadrillion).

Despite not being projected to collide with the planet, NASA took the extraordinary step of adding 3I/ATLAS to the list of threats tracked by a United Nations-endorsed group focused on planetary defense against near-Earth objects.

The decision has helped to mobilize all of the world's telescopes to observe the interstellar visitor, with 227 observatories already tracking it.

Loeb noted that 3I/ATLAS will make its closest approach to Earth on December 19 and NASA is planning to take even more detailed readings of the object as it approaches the Juno spacecraft near Jupiter on March 16, 2026.

'We should not miss an opportunity, because this is a gift from interstellar space,' the Harvard professor explained.

Loeb concluded by saying the arrival of 3I/ATLAS and the recent visit of Oumuamua just eight years ago cannot be dismissed as random events in the cosmos.

'What nature is trying to tell us is that we don't understand something.'

The First Interstellar Car in NASCAR’s History

October 26, 2025

On October 25, 2025, I attended the NASCAR car race in Bakersfield, California.

The racers were all ecstatic about the interstellar object 3I/ATLAS because of its high speed of 68 kilometers per second on its approach to perihelion on October 29, 2025.

3I/ATLAS is 600 times faster than the best of these cars.

One of the qualified NASCAR racers, Alex Malycke, was so impressed by the 8 anomalies of 3I/ATLAS described in my research (summarized here), that he chose to feature images of me and 3I/ATLAS on the hood of his car.

He labeled it the first “interstellar car” in NASCAR’s history.

On January 2, 2025, the Minor Planet Center catalogued a new near-Earth asteroid, only to realize a day later that it is the Tesla Roadster car launched by SpaceX under the leadership of Elon Musk as a dummy payload on the Falcon Heavy rocket.

The Tesla Roadster will remain a solar system car because it is bound by the Sun’s gravity. However, the Milky Way galaxy might have hosted a more accomplished space entrepreneur than Elon Musk over the past few billion years.

If so, the Rubin Observatory might discover interstellar cars as they enter the inner Solar System at a speed that is hundreds of times faster than found in NASCAR races.

If Alex had been able to launch his car above the escape speed of the solar system from Bakersfield Speedway, then his car would have been truly interstellar.

The required speed is comparable to that of 3I/ATLAS. A major challenge at that speed would have been to survive the fireball generated by the friction of the car with the Earth’s atmosphere.

Given the existential risk posed by this fireball, the limited horsepower of Alex’s car engine should be regarded as a blessing since it keeps Alex down to Earth.

Alex got me into his car and taught me how to drive it while this crash course was filmed by Netflix for a documentary to be released by mid 2026.

Next to Alex’s car, I met one of the contenders to the NASCAR championship, Vito Cancilla, a 14-year-old high-schooler who started racing at age 4 following a family tradition — as his grandfather was a hall-of-fame racer.

I told Vito that if he has any questions on how physics might help to enhance the performance of his car, I will be glad to serve as his scientific advisor.

“I did not have a class in physics as of yet,” Vito admitted with a smile, to which I replied: “Physics works irrespective of whether both of us understand it.”

Alex gave a brilliant tutorial on various techniques used to improve the performance of race cars.

It occurred to me that there might be room for future improvements, taking advantage of small effects like heat redistribution on the expansion of the car’s frame.

Following Alex’s tutorial, I asked Alex and Vito whether a self-driving car could in principle win the NASCAR championship by optimizing its racing strategy with the aid of suitable sensors and artificial intelligence.

The answer is likely in the affirmative, if only someone had the incentive to develop such a car. But as in any sport, the goal in car racing is to compare human performances even when machines can outperform them.

Will a truly interstellar car be guided by artificial or natural intelligence? It is reasonable to expect that out-of-this-world machines might be favored over biological pilots for long-duration interstellar journeys given the harsh conditions of space.

Here’s hoping that future data on interstellar objects, like 3I/ATLAS, would deliver a reliable answer to this question. As on the NASCAR Speedway, the outcome of interstellar races is decided through observations.

>>23772155

As I was leaving the parking lot, Alex and Vito came to shake my hand and ask: “Is 3I/ATLAS a natural comet or alien technology?” I replied that a picture is worth a thousand words.

The highest resolution images of 3I/ATLAS were taken by the HiRISE camera onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on October 2, 2025 with 30 kilometers per pixel and a first sideway view relative to the direction of the Sun. Unfortunately, the release of this data is delayed by the U.S. government shutdown.

The disappointment on the faces of Alex and Vito made it clear that delay is contradictory to the NASCAR spirit. Gladly, the brilliant congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna promised to expedite the release of NASA’s data in a message that she sent me at the end of the race.

On the way back to my hotel, I received an email that was the cherry on top of my delightful day. It read as follows:

“Dear Professor Loeb,

I know it’s probably a nuisance of me to send fluff to your professional email, however I couldn’t find a better way to get in touch and felt compelled to at least write a few words of appreciation after enjoying your work and media appearances for the last few years and seeing you come frequently under fire from your peers and sections of science media.

It has been refreshing and in some way comforting to see a tenured Academic pushing the envelope on scientific inquiry and open minded dialogue around the possibility of recent cosmic phenomena being of technological origin.

Whether you are right or wrong, the importance of having someone of your credibility maintain and encourage these conversations I think can’t be understated.

I’m not sure how many people write to you to say thanks for your work (and by the looks of things you probably get quite a few emails that state quite the opposite), but as someone with a deep lifelong passion for the natural sciences, in particular astrophysics and all the wonderful ideas that branch out from it, your work, ideas and discussions have been more valuable to me as a curious person, than some of the cold hard scientific discoveries of the last few years.

Please do not stop, no matter how much people cry about it. It’s fun, interesting, and if you end up being right, boy are some people going to feel stupid.

I really enjoyed your book ET — The First Sign of Intelligent Life. It was a great read — I also got the audiobook (but you should’ve been the narrator!).

Your book made me want to jump into a discussion about the ideas as I was reading it, but it is very hard to find minds that are both scientifically sound and intellectually humble enough to admit that there are things that we cannot know until we rule them out. Thankfully your various interviews have filled a bit of that void.

Thank you for all your work, Prof. Loeb, and I hope for much more to come.

And if you are ever in the South of England in the future, swing by Dorset for a local ale and some physics babble with a humble amateur.

All the best,

Ivan Gibson”

Hale-Bopp vs 3I/ATLAS: The Comet That Captured Humanity’s Heart

Last updated: October 25, 2025

  • Comet Hale-Bopp (1995–1997) remains the gold standard for cometary spectacle, dazzling billions with its naked-eye brilliance for over 18 months and igniting global awe alongside darker cultural shadows like the Heaven's Gate tragedy.

  • 3I/ATLAS (C/2025 N1), the third confirmed interstellar comet, discovered in July 2025, captivates through scientific anomalies and extraterrestrial intrigue rather than raw visibility—its faint glow requires telescopes, but its potential "alien" quirks have fueled viral speculation.

  • While Hale-Bopp captured humanity's heart through sheer beauty and accessibility, 3I/ATLAS leans on intellectual thrill and conspiracy, suggesting comets evolve from harbingers of doom to portals of cosmic possibility; neither outshines the other outright, but together they highlight our enduring fascination with the stars.

  • Evidence from NASA, ESA, and astronomers like Avi Loeb points to natural origins for both, yet public imagination thrives on the "what if"—a reminder that comets unite science and storytelling in equal measure.

Comets have long served as humanity’s cosmic messengers, streaking across the sky to herald change, doom, or divine whimsy.

In 1997, Comet Hale-Bopp etched itself into collective memory as a beacon of unadulterated beauty, visible for a record 569 days and drawing eyes from every corner of the globe.

Nearly three decades later, on the cusp of its October 2025 perihelion, 3I/ATLAS (formally C/2025 N1) emerges not as a visual fireworks display but as a riddle wrapped in interstellar enigma.

Dubbed the third confirmed visitor from beyond our solar system, it whispers possibilities of alien artistry amid its faint, anomalous glow.

This article delves into their parallel paths: from serendipitous discoveries to scientific revelations, public captivation, and the shadowy undercurrents of myth-making.

By comparing these two icons—one a solar system native, the other an extraterrestrial drifter—we uncover why comets continue to seize the human heart, blending empirical rigor with existential yearning.

As of October 25, 2025, with 3I/ATLAS hurtling toward the Sun at 68 km/s, the timing feels providential: a chance to reflect on how these icy wanderers mirror our evolving gaze upon the stars.

The Serendipitous Sparks: How Two Comets Entered Our World

Every great comet begins with a glance skyward, but the circumstances differ wildly. Hale-Bopp’s origin story is pure romance.

On a balmy July evening in 1995, Alan Hale, a 41-year-old astronomer tinkering in his New Mexico backyard, peered through his 16-inch telescope and caught a fuzzy smudge at magnitude 10.5—dim, but insistent.

Mere hours later, 300 miles away in Arizona, Thomas Bopp, a 38-year-old construction worker and amateur stargazer, spotted the same anomaly during a casual star party near Phoenix.

Their independent sightings, confirmed the next day by the International Astronomical Union, birthed C/1995 O1 (Hale-Bopp). Precovery analysis later traced it to 1993 images, revealing unusual activity at 13 AU from the Sun, hinting at its colossal 40–80 km nucleus.

Fast-forward to 2025: 3I/ATLAS arrives via algorithmic precision, not human hunch. The Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS)—a network of telescopes scanning for near-Earth threats—flagged the object on July 1 from its Río Hurtado station in Chile.

Designated initially as A11pl3Z, it was reclassified as comet C/2025 N1 two days later after Minor Planet Center confirmation. Precovery gems from NASA’s TESS satellite pushed detection to May 7, showing a nascent coma at 6.4 AU.

Unlike Hale-Bopp’s amateur charm, this was big data at work: ATLAS processes 100 million stars nightly, sifting for the anomalous. Yet, both discoveries underscore astronomy’s democratic thrill—Hale-Bopp from backyards, 3I/ATLAS from code—reminding us that the universe yields to persistence, whether ocular or optical.

Orbital Odysseys: Bound by Gravity, Freed by the Void

Comets are time capsules, their paths etching tales of formation and fate. Hale-Bopp, a long-period Oort Cloud denizen, boasts an eccentricity of 0.995 and a 2,399-year orbit, tilted 89° to the ecliptic.

Its perihelion grazed 0.914 AU on April 1, 1997, after a Jupiter slingshot in 1996 shaved centuries from its cycle. Ancient records suggest a prior pass around 2215 BC, possibly witnessed by Mesopotamians as a “hairy star.”

Post-1997, it recedes to aphelion at 354 AU, with JWST spotting residual activity as far as 46 AU in 2022.

>>23772206

3I/ATLAS shatters this template with its unbound hyperbolic arc (eccentricity 6.137), screaming “interloper” at 58 km/s excess velocity—the fastest of the trio after 1I/ʻOumuamua and 2I/Borisov.

Originating from the Milky Way’s southern disk (perhaps 7.6–14 billion years old), it crossed Neptune’s orbit in mid-2023 before diving in. Perihelion looms on October 29, 2025, at 1.356 AU—safely distant, peaking at 68.3 km/s.

Close shaves include Mars (0.194 AU on October 3), Venus (0.649 AU on November 3), and Earth (1.797 AU on December 19)—no impacts, but prime for spacecraft intercepts like Juno at Jupiter in March 2026. Its retrograde 175° inclination adds flair: a cosmic boomerang from the void.

These trajectories highlight a poignant contrast: Hale-Bopp as a prodigal son returning home, 3I/ATLAS as an eternal nomad, untethered and unknowable.

Scientifically, both comets are treasure troves, but Hale-Bopp’s scale enabled unprecedented dissection. Its dust output hit 2 × 10^6 kg/s, revealing micron-sized silicates via infrared spectra and the highest polarization ever measured—proof of fluffy, light-scattering grains.

A 0.33 AU sodium tail, absent in most comets, arose from UV-sputtered atoms, while deuterium ratios (twice Earth’s oceans) suggested comets contributed modestly to our water, with ices crystallizing at 25–45 K in interstellar clouds.

Organics, argon enrichment, and a debated binary nucleus (30 km companion?) painted it as a Kuiper Belt refugee scattered to the Oort fringe. Rotation at 11.35 hours drove jet activity, captured in Hubble’s gaze.

3I/ATLAS, sleeker at <5.6 km nucleus, defies norms with a CO₂-heavy coma (129 kg/s emission) dwarfing H₂O (6.6 kg/s)—only 4% water by mass, versus Hale-Bopp’s hydrated vigor.

JWST’s August 2025 spectra unveiled amorphous ice grains (<1 μm), CO (14 kg/s), OCS (0.43 kg/s), and startling nickel vapor outpacing iron, evoking industrial alloys.

CN emissions and a 100,000 km reddish dust tail (tholin-tinted) suggest primordial chemistry from a metal-rich parent body. Extreme negative polarization and a sunward “anti-tail” jet—geometric oddity or propulsion hint?—rank it 4/10 on Avi Loeb’s technosignature scale.

Hubble, VLT, and Gemini South track its 16-hour spin; ExoMars imaged its Mars flyby. No outbursts, just steady sublimation—yet anomalies like Wow! Signal alignment (9° off) fuel debate.

In essence, Hale-Bopp demystified solar system comets; 3I/ATLAS probes the galaxy’s underbelly, potentially the oldest comet sampled.

Eyes on the Prize: Observing the Unseeable

Hale-Bopp was democracy in action: naked-eye from May 1996 to December 1997, peaking brighter than Venus and eclipse-visible in Asia. Urbanites in Chicago marveled at its dual tails (white dust, blue ion) against light pollution; 69% of Americans tuned in by spring 1997.

3I/ATLAS plays hard to get. At 12.3 magnitude now, it’s binocular territory in Sagittarius (July–September 2025), shifting to Ophiuchus and Libra pre-perihelion.

Solar conjunction (October 21) blacks it out, but post-pass in Virgo/Leo (December onward), it dims to 14th magnitude—200–300 mm scopes only.

GOES-19 satellites snag views October 18–24; apps like TheSkyLive guide elongation. Hale-Bopp fed the masses; 3I/ATLAS rewards the devoted, its invisibility amplifying mystique.

Hearts in the Heavens: From Mass Euphoria to Meme Mania

No comet captures the soul without stirring the spirit. Hale-Bopp’s 1997 zenith coincided with internet infancy—websites beamed daily photos, spawning Dmitry Kayukin’s Comet 97 album and global vigils.

Yet joy soured: Heaven’s Gate’s March 26 mass suicide (39 lives) linked the comet to a trailing UFO, birthing Nibiru and doomsday lore.

Media frenzy—Time, NYT—balanced wonder with warnings, while astronomers Carolyn and Eugene Shoemaker perished chasing it, their ashes lunar-bound with a Hale-Bopp print.

3I/ATLAS, faint but feverish, thrives in the TikTok era. Loeb’s July 2025 speculation—30–40% artificial odds, citing nickel-cyanide ratios and ecliptic fine-tuning—ignited “mothership” theories, government shutdown coverups, and doomsday resets tied to 100-year cycles.

X (formerly Twitter) buzzes with #3IATLAS poetry, alien probes, and SETI rebuttals; NBC and The Guardian debunk while IFLScience tests “black swan” scenarios.

Unlike Hale-Bopp’s tragedy, this is speculative satire—fringe claims of Ni(CO)₄ fuel or Mars Rover “cylinders” dismissed by NASA/ESA data confirming natural outgassing. Yet, like its predecessor, it unites: families debate ET over dinner, echoing 1997’s backyard bonds.

Hale-Bopp won hearts through visibility’s embrace; 3I/ATLAS through mystery’s tease. In a polarized age, both prove comets as mirrors—reflecting our hopes, fears, and unquenchable curiosity.

As 3I/ATLAS crests the Sun this week, one wonders: Will it fade like a whisper, or roar like Hale-Bopp’s echo? The stars, as ever, hold their counsel.

June Lockhart, Beloved Mom on ‘Lassie’ and ‘Lost in Space,’ Dies at 100

October 25, 2025 12:30pm

June Lockhart, affectionately known as Lassie’s mom to a generation of Baby Boomers for her portrayal of Ruth Martin on the long-running series, has died. She was 100.

Lockhart, famous for playing other nurturing characters on two other CBS shows in the 1960s — the matriarch on the sci-fi drama Lost in Space and the “lady doctor” on the rural sitcom Petticoat Junction — died Thursday of natural causes at her home in Santa Monica, a family spokesperson announced.

Her father was the great character actor Gene Lockhart — he received an Oscar nomination in 1939 for Algiers and appeared in such classics as His Girl Friday, Abe Lincoln in Illinois, Meet John Doe and Miracle on 34th Street — and her mother was actress Kathleen Lockhart (Lady in the Lake).

Her parents, who were introduced to each other by Thomas Edison when they barnstormed for him as he trotted out one of his inventions, the phonograph, appeared together as husband and wife Bob and Emily Cratchit in MGM’s A Christmas Carol (1938), and June made her movie debut in that film as one of their kids.

“You could say I am one of Edison’s good ideas,” she often said.

Before she hit 25, the wholesome, bright-eyed Lockhart also appeared in All This, and Heaven Too (1940) opposite Charles Boyer and Bette Davis; as Gary Cooper‘s sister in Sergeant York (1941); as Lucille Ballard, the beauty first misjudged by Judy Garland, in Meet Me in St. Louis (1944); as a woman convinced she’s a monster in the Universal horror film She-Wolf of London (1946); and as a supportive wife in T-Men (1947), directed by Anthony Mann.

Lockhart, who had a supporting role in MGM’s 1945 sequel Son of Lassie, became a household name in America soon after replacing Cloris Leachman as Ruth at the start of Lassie‘s fifth season in September 1958.

She had been approached before Leachman accepted the role but had turned it down.

“I thought about what I had been offered and said to myself, ‘What am I being so damn grand about?'” she once recalled.

“I have two children to support, the part they want me to play has a lot of dignity, the show is already on the air, I wouldn’t have to film a pilot, and they have a sponsor. This is a really great gift that has been offered to me.”

Lockhart gave substance to the strong farm wife, always worried about whether her husband (Hugh Reilly) could bring in the bean crop. Their adopted son, Timmy, was played by Jon Provost, who had joined the series a season earlier at age 7 as an orphan runaway.

Lockhart portrayed Ruth on more than 200 episodes and received an Emmy nomination in 1959. (During her run, four pooches played Lassie.)

Soon after the start of the 1964-65 season, Lockhart, Reilly and Provost were written out as the “boy and his dog” theme was jettisoned in favor of the collie being paired with a Forest Service Ranger (Robert Bray).

The family was moving to Australia, and the dog couldn’t come with them, viewers were told.

“I certainly enjoyed Lassie. I’d be with it yet if they hadn’t changed the format,” she said decades later.

Lockhart wasn’t out of work for long, quickly moving to another motherly role, the biochemist Maureen Robinson on the 1965-68 series Lost in Space.

(She was offered the part after appearing on an episode of another Irwin Allen-produced series, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.)

Her husband on the show was Prof. John Robinson (Guy Williams), and they and their three children (played by Marta Kristen, Angela Cartwright and Billy Mumy) were stranded after their spacecraft was sent off course by a stowaway (Jonathan Harris) during a colonization mission.

After Lost in Space was canceled, Lockhart joined Petticoat Junction during its sixth season as Janet Craig, who arrived in Hooterville to replace the town’s retiring Doc Stuart (Regis Toomey) and lived at the Shady Rest Hotel.

She effectively replaced actress Bea Benaderet, who had died in October 1968, and remained with the comedy until it ended in 1970.

June Lockhart was born June 25, 1925, in New York City, the only child of her actor parents, who were married the previous June (obviously, that month was big for them).

At age 8, she appeared in a pantomime scene in Peter Ibbetson at the Metropolitan Opera House, where she was studying ballet.

Her father, a founding member of SAG, signed with MGM, and the family headed to Southern California in 1934.

Lockhart attended the Westlake School for Girls, living there five days a week, and spent weekends and holidays with her folks water-skiing on Lake Arrowhead.

She made her Broadway debut in 1947, playing an ingenue in the comedy For Love or Money, and was an overnight toast of the Great White Way, winning the first Tony ever presented (for outstanding performance by a newcomer), a Donaldson Award and a Theatre World Award.

The Associated Press honored her as Woman of the Year for Drama.

In the 1950s, Lockhart worked mainly in television, with appearances on such shows as Zane Grey Theater, Wagon Train, Gunsmoke, Studio One in Hollywood and The United States Steel Hour.

When Fran Allison took time off, she stepped in to work with the puppets on Kukla, Fran and Ollie. Later, she served as a regular host on beauty pageants and holiday parades.

More recently, Lockhart appeared intermittently as matriarch Maria Ramirez on General Hospital and guest-starred as Ryan Stiles’ mother on The Drew Carey Show, as the Tanner girls’ kindergarten teacher on Full House and as the grandmother of Tori Spelling on Beverly Hills, 90210. She was one of the “TV moms” featured on a 1995 episode of Roseanne. In the 1998 Lost in Space movie, she had a cameo as Principal Cartwright.

One of her daughters is actress Anne Lockhart, who has appeared on scores of shows, including Battlestar Galactica and Chicago Fire.

They worked together on Magnum, P.I. and in the 1986 sci-fi film Troll. Survivors include her other daughter, June, and four grandchildren.

While working on Lost in Space, Lockhart developed a fascination for science and outer space.

She brought her celebrity to NASA and spent a lot of time in Houston and elsewhere, making appearances at dinners and conventions and mixing with the astronauts and their wives.

The agency honored her with its Exceptional Public Achievement Medal in 2013.

Her father had written the lyrics to the 1919 ballad “The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise” (recorded by Edison on his first recording invention and later performed by Benny Goodman, Les Paul & Mary Ford and Willie Nelson, among others), and after Lockhart brought it to the attention of NASA in 1992, the agency used the song to wake the crew of the Columbia Space Shuttle each day.

“Mommy always considered acting as her craft, her vocation, but her true passions were journalism, politics, science and NASA,” her daughter June said in a statement.

“She cherished playing her role in Lost in Space and she was delighted to know that she inspired many future astronauts, as they would remind her on visits to NASA.

That meant even more to her than the hundreds of television and movies roles she played.”

See Comet Lemmon cross paths with a cosmic serpent tonight

October 26, 2025

Comet Lemmon will cut through the neck of a cosmic serpent on the night of Oct. 26, when it passes through the stars of the constellation Serpens Caput ahead of its close approach to the sun in early November.

The wandering comet Comet C/2025 A6 (Lemmon) was discovered on Jan. 3 earlier this year and has been brightening dramatically over the course of its subsequent headlong dive into the inner solar system.

The brightening occurred as an increase in heat radiation from the sun vaporized icy materials embedded in its structure, creating a gaseous shell around its nucleus.

The cometary material was then caught up in the solar wind, leading to the formation of a visually spectacular tail that shines in the reflected light of the sun.

Comet Lemmon is currently estimated to have a magnitude of around +4.3 according to the Comet Observation Database (COBS) run by the Crni Vrh Observatory in Slovenia, which should make it visible to the unaided eye from dark sky locations.

Look to the western horizon from a dark sky location at sunset on Oct. 26 to find Comet Lemmon's hazy light shine directly beneath the triangle formation of stars representing the head of the great snake in the constellation Serpens Caput.

By the following night, the comet will have cut through the neck of the celestial serpent to approach the constellation Ophiuchus, the "snake bearer".

Serpens is the only constellation that appears in two halves in the night sky, with Serpens Caput appearing to the right of the constellation Ophiuchus, with Serpens Cauda — the tail — appearing to the snake bearer's left.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Csj_uZew-bM (The Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror Special! (1-35 Recap))

30 years ago, 'The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror special introduced us to Kang & Kodos, the series' iconic alien invaders

October 25, 2025

"Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos"

"Foolish, Earthlings!" The line most commonly uttered by two drooling aliens who have become a staple of "The Simpsons"' famed Treehouse of Horror episodes – Kang and Kodos.

No, literally, they're in every single one, which is an impressive feat, 34 and counting. From major plotlines to brief cameos, they are the unofficial "Where's Waldo?" of Matt Groening's world and beloved (albeit feared) figureheads of the spooky specials.

On a much deeper level, Kang and Kodos are Springfield's answer to the spinning top of "Inception", the calling card that helps you realise, 'phew, I'm watching a Halloween special of "The Simpsons" and this isn't, actually, real life at all.'

But seeing Kang and Kodos is also just a bit of fun, if you don't want to get that deep.

Growing up with Treehouse of Horror, from fresh episodes to spending my pocket money on the comic books, I've developed a complicated relationship with the aliens that I love, but also think are kind of gross.

And, as we reach over 30 years of Treehouse of Horror (the original episode aired on October 25, 1990), it feels important to take a look back on what Kang and Kodos have actually taught us about space, how they fit into sci-fi history, and what we've learnt about extraterrestrial life.

Kang and Kodos are two aliens from Rigel VII, and while in season seven, Kang referred to Kodos as his sister, despite only having a slightly higher-than-Kang voice, they've established themselves as gender ambiguous.

In fact, in season 30, Kodos reveals they have 32 sexual identities when growing intimate with Patty, Marge's sister.

Like many alien depictions in popular culture (but not all, here's to you, E.T.), they're pretty hellbent on destroying humanity and taking over the world, or Springfield at the very least.

And let's not forget a few classic alien behaviorisms like probing and the bio-duplication in 1996's Treehouse of Horror VII of then-President Bill Clinton for good measure.

But being evil aliens wasn't always on the cards. In their first-ever appearance, in Treehouse of Horror I, they were merely trying to make friends.

Titled "Hungry are the Damned", the Simpsons family gets abducted by Kang and Kodos and is welcomed aboard the spaceship of the one-eyed, slimy-mouthed, Rigellian-speaking aliens.

Fortunately, and if by writer's magic, Rigellian is an exact match to English, and so we can understand this extraterrestrial chatter.

They explain that they want to take the Simpsons to Rigel IV, "a world of infinite delights to tantalize the senses and challenge your intellectual limitations".

But, as Sherak the Preparer (voiced by the legendary James Earl Jones, I might add), begins to fatten them up with luxurious meals, Lisa grows suspicious.

In one of my favourite moments of Treehouse of Horror history, a misconstrued book seemingly called "How to Cook Humans" is dusted away to reveal it actually says: "How to Cook for Forty Humans", in an amusing homage to the classic Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man".

It's this assumption of wicked alien behavior from humanity that upsets them, prompting Kang and Kodos to drop the Simpsons back at home and set a target over Springfield for good.

As Lisa so poignantly says at the segment's conclusion: "There were monsters on that ship, and truly we were them".

>>23772373

From there on out, Kang and Kodos were set on a mission to do bad things to the Simpsons and their hometown, seemingly in retaliation for Lisa's accusations.

And so, throughout the last 30 years, they've made numerous attempts to take over the world, and have actually been successful in a couple of them.

Though in keeping with classic Treehouse of Horror episodes, everything returns back to normal after the conclusion of each annual spookfest.

But world domination isn't the only interest of these aliens. We've witnessed them voted in as President or Earth's liberators and even as Selma and Patty's lovers.

That's not the only case of intergalactic romance, either, as who can forget when Kang, in a bid to cement the Rigellians' position in sci-fi history, impregnated Marge and fathered Maggie.

Aside from birthing the show's first hybrid alien-human baby, it also spawned one of my favorite Jerry Springer parody episodes: "Wife knocked boots with Space Stud!".

Most of the time, though, as joked by Kang and Kodos themselves, they are written into the show as background cameos or to simply narrate their observations from their spaceship, laughing at us, maniacally.

According to showrunner and executive producer David Mirkin, these laughs sometimes just serve as a tool to make sure the episodes are the correct length for broadcast.

Sci-fi can certainly just be a little bit of fun with Kang and Kodos becoming Rocky & Bullwinkle, quoting Mork & Mindy ("D'oh. Shazbot"), and dancing in the Charlie Brown parody.

And, in sci-fi moments I'll never forget, there's Kang's daughter taking Bart's virginity in Avatar parody episode, "In the Na'vi", or Selma and Kang making sweet intergalactic love in "When Harry Met Slimy".

There's also a few references that Kang and Kodos are simply hired actors in Treehouse of Horror, normalizing their position in the show and adding light and humor to the aliens, despite their penchant for world domination and evading dissection.

At the end of it all, "The Simpsons" is doing exactly what it does best, making fun of some pretty serious situations.

And given that Space.com itself is actually featured in one of the Treehouse of Horror episodes (well, Thanksgiving of Horror technically), we feel a special bond with these extraterrestrial goofballs.

Our real-life search for aliens has proved a lot less fruitful than those of the Simpson family, but given "The Simpsons" propensity for eerily accurate futuristic predictions like smartwatches, the Apple Vision Pro, and President Trump, who's to say Kang and Kodos aren't out there somewhere, laughing at us with constant drool hanging out of their mouths?

While I don't condone a 30-plus-year grudge, it didn't take all that much convincing for Kang and Kodos to become the invading aliens that have so often been portrayed in popular culture.

But as Kang (or was it Kodos) once said, "In Rigellian, there are no words as yours or mine," so maybe they just want to be loved, included, and praised for their acting prowess, and maybe we're the selfish ones for sometimes nearly forgetting to include them in an episode at all.

NATO state brings back military draft

25 Oct, 2025 16:39

Croatia’s parliament has voted to reinstate compulsory military service, ending a 17-year hiatus. The Balkan country abolished the draft in 2008, shifting to a fully professional army.

The move comes amid a broader trend among NATO and EU members of reviving conscription and boosting military budgets, citing current geopolitical tensions, particularly the Ukraine conflict.

Under the new law, around 4,000 recruits will be called up each year in five groups for two months of basic training at military facilities across Croatia, state broadcaster HRT reported on Friday.

The program – estimated to cost €23.7 million annually – will begin in early 2026. Participants will receive around €1,100 per month, plus travel and leave expenses, and credited work experience.

Croatia is “seeing a rise in various types of threats that demand swift and effective action from the broader community,” Defense Minister Ivan Anusic stated earlier this week, as cited by AFP.

In June, he explained that the decision to reinstate conscription was driven by “changed global geopolitical and security circumstances, increasingly frequent climate change, natural disasters and similar challenges.”

Croatia joins a growing list of NATO and EU countries reviving or expanding conscription. Sweden brought back the draft in 2017 and plans to raise the reservist age limit. Latvia and Lithuania have reinstated service, while Estonia

and Finland have increased their annual recruitment. Poland has also debated similar measures.

Since the escalation of the Ukraine conflict in 2022, Western officials have claimed that Russia could threaten EU states, prompting a military buildup across the bloc.

European NATO members agreed to boost armed forces spending to up to 5% of GDP, citing the alleged “Russian threat.”

Moscow has repeatedly dismissed allegations of hostile intent toward Western nations as “nonsense” and fearmongering, condemning what it describes as the West’s “reckless militarization.”

Notorious gang leader helping Ukraine police with forced conscription – media (VIDEO)

25 Oct, 2025 23:01

A suspected gang leader is allegedly aiding Ukrainian recruitment officials in their mobilization efforts, according to several news outlets, including UNIAN.

The man was previously accused of orchestrating kidnappings in Odessa, according to reports.

Identified by the media as Magomed Aydamirov, the man appears in a video that shows the actions of draft officers, first published by a local Telegram channel.

In it, a bearded man in camouflage threatens an individual who was speaking with a police officer, searching for potential conscripts on the street.

Aydamirov was arrested in 2018 on suspicion of running a criminal gang responsible for kidnappings and racketeering from 2015 to 2017.

The police reportedly found explosives, weapons, and a machine gun during searches linked to the gang’s activities.

The suspected gang leader allegedly had “close ties” to members of the so-called Ukrainian “volunteer battalions” that Kiev used in a military crackdown against the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics after they declared independence following the 2014 Maidan coup.

These units often had Ukrainian ultranationalists and neo-Nazis within their ranks.

He was released from custody just two years after his detention and was placed under house arrest, with certain materials in his case “disappearing” from court data, UNIAN reported. The Ukrainian authorities have not commented on the media reports.

Ukraine introduced a general mobilization shortly after the escalation of the conflict with Russia in 2022. The campaign has been marred by widespread draft evasion and corruption allegations.

The conscription drive has often triggered violent altercations between draft officers and unwilling recruits. Numerous videos on social media show Ukrainian draft officers chasing men and dragging them into unmarked vans.

Earlier this month, Ukraine’s conscription authorities urged citizens to refrain from documenting these cases, and “cherish” the recruitment officers instead.

IDF confirms drone strike in central Gaza, says it targeted Islamic Jihad operative planning ‘imminent attack’

25 October 2025, 8:36 pm

The IDF says it carried out a drone strike in central Gaza’s Nuseirat a short while ago, targeting a Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative who was planning an “imminent attack” against troops.

Palestinian media reported that one person was killed and others were injured in the strike that hit a car in the Nuseirat area.

Nuseirat is on the western side of the Yellow Line, meaning it is not under Israeli control according to the terms of the ceasefire.

Israel braces for 'propaganda war' as global journalists prepare to enter Gaza

Ocyober 26, 2025 07:09

In recent weeks, senior Israeli officials and security agencies have been holding intensive discussions about how to manage Gaza’s imminent reopening to the world.

With international forces expected to enter the Strip to assist in locating the hostages and the bodies that Hamas claims are no longer in its possession, Israel is bracing for the arrival of foreign journalists who will, for the first time, see the destruction with their own eyes rather than through Hamas-produced footage.

The state told the Supreme Court that Israeli and foreign journalists will soon be permitted to enter Gaza under Israel Defense Forces escort, up to the boundary known as the “yellow line.”

The announcement came during a High Court hearing on a petition filed by the Foreign Press Association challenging the government’s restrictions on coverage from within the Strip.

Although the state requested and received an extension to file its formal response, the change appears imminent.

Officials across Israel’s public diplomacy establishment are preparing for what they describe as an oncoming wave of negative reports focusing on “human stories” from Gaza.

These stories, they say, will likely feature the suffering of civilians amid the devastation and could reignite criticism of Israel’s conduct during the war.

According to those involved in the effort, the Foreign Ministry and the National Public Diplomacy Directorate are also preparing for Hamas’ expected use of the situation to advance a propaganda campaign accusing Israel once again of war crimes.

A large strategy session was recently convened by the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit with representatives from the Foreign Ministry, the National Public Diplomacy Directorate, and other agencies.

Foreign Ministry Director-General Eden Bar Tal took part in the meeting.

Officials emphasized that although a ceasefire is in place, “the diplomatic and informational battles are far from over.” One Foreign Ministry source said, “On the contrary, we expect intensified anti-Israel attacks on social media and in traditional media outlets.”

A senior official involved in the planning described the mission as “a central task for every branch of the system.” The challenge, he said, is clear and significant, especially because of the widespread destruction visible in Gaza.

“We are working to prepare explanatory materials, with an emphasis on visual and incriminating evidence to illustrate that Hamas turned Gaza into a terror state, cynically using civilians and civilian infrastructure,” he said.

Since the ceasefire, criticism of Israel abroad has eased and coverage of the conflict has largely disappeared from front pages. Israeli public diplomacy officials now expect that the reopening of Gaza to international reporters will bring the story back into global focus.

One idea under review is the establishment of designated sites in Gaza where journalists can be shown how Hamas operated from within civilian areas and hid behind noncombatants.

Officials say that if the plan is approved, several “demonstration sites” will be created to provide clear visual explanations.

>>23772573

“It’s unclear how much new evidence will be found, because the images have already spread around the world,” one senior source said.

“But this will be the first time that foreign crews enter Gaza, and they will go building by building, presenting difficult stories. We are preparing for every possible scenario.

The assumption is that information will come from sources seeking to dramatize events against Israel, with the destruction serving as the backdrop.

They’ll show the ruins and point to Israel as responsible — but Israel’s message is unequivocal: Hamas bears the responsibility.

This is consistent with international law, even if it doesn’t look good on camera. Hamas hid beneath schools and hospitals. It was the only way to reach the terrorists. Any other country would have acted the same — or worse.”

Officials noted that approximately 60 percent of Hamas’ tunnel network remains standing even two years after the war, evidence they say will help demonstrate the scale of Hamas’ military infrastructure within civilian areas.

“The only way to reach Hamas military targets was through homes,” one said. “The terrorists emerged from civilian houses — that’s the reality.”

Another senior official described the destruction in Gaza as “fertile ground for anti-Israel campaigns that will lead to protests abroad.” He added, “We need to make clear that this was a terror state.

For 20 years, Hamas built terror infrastructure on top of civilian infrastructure. It exploited schools, mosques, and residential buildings.

The IDF and Military Intelligence are working hard to gather the incriminating material needed to support this message. We especially need visual evidence.

When we take journalists on tours, we must explain what happened — here was a tunnel shaft; there, a hostage was held.”

At the same time, Israel is preparing for the expected renewal of the “numbers debate” over Gaza’s death toll — how many terrorists were killed versus civilians. Officials say it is critical to present accurate data that Israel can stand behind.

“We must show how many so-called civilian deaths were actually natural deaths unrelated to the fighting, even though Hamas claims they were war casualties,” one source said.

“Our assessments indicate that the ratio of civilian to terrorist deaths is very low, especially for a conflict of this intensity. That will be an important point to make.”

Not all officials are convinced that Israel’s preparations are adequate. One senior figure said, “Unfortunately, I don’t see real readiness.

The international media have already published photos of the destruction and the death toll figures released by Hamas’ health ministry. What hasn’t yet been told are the human stories from Gaza in the voices and faces of the residents themselves.

That’s what journalists will now bring, and there’s little we can do to counter it. During the war, we could say, ‘Return the hostages and we’ll end the war.’ Now the hostages have returned, the war is over.

This is the aftershock — like a tsunami. We just have to lower our heads, let the wave pass, and move on.”

Another official said there are still ways to handle the situation. “This time, delegations of journalists will enter Gaza under the guidance of Foreign Ministry and IDF Spokesperson officials, escorted by commanders who know the area,” he said.

“They’ll bring international influencers and counterterrorism experts. But right now, the public diplomacy system is paralyzed, and those responsible for it at the Foreign Ministry are still busy fighting the previous war.

Unfortunately, it’s a communications failure for both wars — the one that ended, and the one that’s about to begin.”

UFO contains chilling alien message about Earth's future amid 'first contact' claims

07:42 ET, 26 Oct 2025

Extraterrestrials have issued a stark warning to mankind that we risk annihilating our planet in a stunning UFO revelation, which researchers are hailing as "first contact."

The ominous alert from beings "far away in time and space" implores humans to take action to safeguard the planet. Through a series of disturbing messages, specialists have determined that our cosmic neighbors harbor profound concerns about Earth's future as humanity continues to develop.

Language expert Agnese Sartori maintains she has decoded the otherworldly text and mysterious hieroglyphic-style markings found on the Colombian crash UFO - widely known as the Buga Sphere.

The Italian scholar meticulously analyzed each carved symbol, drawing upon ancient dialects, connections to Sanskrit, and her expertise in historical linguistic archaeology and literature.

Her findings suggest the sphere's communication refers to the "oldest language spoken in some form on this planet."

Sartori revealed: "I believe there's a message here.

They're telling us, 'we entrust you with life, creation, universal harmony, everything that the sun, the moon, the stars, the cosmos, the primal vibration signifies, and you have the possibility to destroy it or save it.

That for me is perhaps my interpretation, (which) could be the fundamental message of that sphere."

Sartori's analysis appears in a 30-minute program, broadcast on Beacon TV's platform, detailing how she developed interpretations of the sphere's surface inscriptions.

"In some way I believe that man can design destiny, because by making mistakes alone, one can decide that this planet will be destroyed in 100 years or in 100,000.

"I believe that man who is a co-creator because he's eternal also has a responsibility for the cosmos, because if something happens to earth, it will be a problem in the solar system and will have repercussions much further afield.

"I believe that man has a great responsibility, and what's happening now is a huge problem. People don't study anymore, they don't want to study."

Sartori explained the 31 engravings on the basketball-shaped aerial vehicle, not built on this world, hint at details of a catastrophic deluge.

"I believe that there are symbols here which can speak of the system of the earth or the cosmos, which has been modified through, for example, a flood.

Because Indra speaks - that symbol - also of a flood. Perhaps it's included in the past of the delivery and the successive cycles that have passed on earth. I think so.

"In fact, many others who have studied Sanskrit and pre- Sanskrit speak of pre-law dates, but the flood is spoken of. There are many texts that speak of the flood."

In recent months, alien life researchers and academics have reached shocking determinations about the Buga Sphere not originating from our present-day civilization. Organic material discovered dates back roughly 12,560 years.

Tomography scans of the sphere have led scientists to conclude that the object contains a transmitter mechanism within its impenetrable shell.

Currently, researchers speculate that the sphere may not only be transmitting messages into outer space but also receiving communications. The advanced screening also seems to raise questions about potential unknown metals or compounds.

The basketball-sized flying machine, which appears not to have been constructed on Earth, is seamless - leaving experts puzzled as to how to open it.

Among those documenting the study were TV host Jack Osbourne and Emmy-nominated documentarian Serena DC, as part of a new television series.

Both Jack and Serena, along with scientists and experts, got a closer look at the Buga Sphere.

This footage will be included in American Paranormal, an eight-part investigative docu-series about paranormal and unexplained phenomena.

Jack, known for popular series like Portals to Hell and The Osbournes Want to Believe, and Serena DC are traveling the world on a mission to find aliens or supernatural entities.

They aim to provide proof of life beyond our stars and delve into unsolved mysteries such as the infamous Peruvian mummies and Big Foot.

The father of four outlined how he remains determined to demonstrate that "intelligent creatures occupying planets" have made contact with earth and humanity.

Serene described how their laboratory visit with the spheres and Sartori's findings represent a "pivotal moment in human discovery.

"If even half of the team's findings are real, what we are peering at is a threshold, where humanity could rewrite a chapter of our origin story and our place in the cosmos.

"If this translation is indeed accurate, it speaks of cosmic beginnings, of cycles of creation and destruction and of a solar event that divides worlds. Whether this is poetry, prophecy, or a record of something that truly happened long ago, we don't know yet.

"Further metallurgical analysis is now underway. Teams from several laboratories are studying the sphere's precise alloy composition to determine whether these metals are of earthly origin or something else entirely.

Whatever its origin, perhaps we're being reminded that someone or something is watching over us."

Enthusiastic Jack, collaborating with Beacon TV and Elysium Media, was "blown away" by what he witnessed during the laboratory visit where the Buga Sphere is secretly stored.

He is withholding his complete perspective on the encounter for the program, which premieres next year.

But Jack voiced his conviction about life beyond our world, "I do believe that there are intelligent creatures occupying planets in this universe or occupying somewhere, whether it's in this universe or not, but I feel like there is a chance that we are the only living thing in this universe. But there are other living things in other universes that can come into ours."

Prominent UFO reporter and acclaimed Mexican television presenter Jamie Maussan serves as the guardian of the sphere, spearheading this fascinating investigation in Mexico. Chief scientist and engineer Rodolfo Garrido heads the research team.

NASA researchers and American university academics have also examined the vessel, resulting in a range of findings. The mysterious artifact is viewed by numerous experts as evidence that extraterrestrials have visited Earth.

It captured global attention when it was observed over Buga performing maneuvers impossible for traditional Earth-based aircraft in March. Following its collision with electrical lines, researchers have dedicated months to conducting extensive analysis procedures.

The preliminary determination was that the basketball-sized aerial device was not manufactured on this planet. The three tiers of metallic substance and 18 microscopic spheres encircling a core center were traced back through the ages.

A University of Georgia analysis revealed that biological matter discovered within the Buga Sphere is roughly 12,560 years old, preceding Egypt's pyramids by seven thousand years.

In recent times, experts have made a series of assertions suggesting that the flying object is not terrestrial.

‘Willem Dafoe’s actually an alien’

26-10-2025 12:00:00 AM

Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone thinks her Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness co-star Willem Dafoe is an alien.

Asked on the Late Show which celebrity she thinks is most likely to be an alien secretly posing as a human, Stone, who plays a woman kidnapped by two men who suspect she is an extra-terrestrial in new movie Bugonia, said:

“Willem Dafoe. Hundred percent.” To which, host Stephen Colbert said: “You did not have to think about that very long.” Stone said Dafoe was an obvious choice.

She said: “It’s so simple. I mean, don’t you - of course. If it was like, Willem Dafoe’s actually an alien everyone would be like, ‘Yeah!

Obviously. And a great one!’ Like, if they’re all like Willem, bring ‘em on! Land upon Earth, please!” Colbert replied: “He’s an alien in a very well-fitted man suit.” Stone added: “My favourite alien.”
