Mm. I have mixed thoughts. It’s our job, under the Constitution, to give them term limits by voting them out. Our job. We’ve failed at that egregiously over the years, until they could stay in long enough to guarantee they would always win. Rigging gerrymandering, illegals whatever.
The next course of action is a constitutional amendment BUT. no matter how an amendment is introduced, (Convention of states ) the process passes into the control of Congress for editing. A very corrupt Congress that we have, too.
This makes a real possibility for what legal scholars term a ‘runaway convention’ where Congress just does what the fuck they want with the constitution once you open the door for them to get their hands on it.
And probably the communists’ only route to getting rid of ‘this ancient, outdated, document drafted by racist slaveowning masons, which nobody can read cursive anyway so you won’t miss it’.
Remember the commie playbook is to create the problem so the public demands a fix, then they happily step in to fix the problem they created with their own solution.
So we are in a catch 22. We don’t dare give them any access to edit the Constitution at the deranged and corrupted point they are now. And we need them gone. And we sat back in apathy too long to vote them out now because they’ve rigged it all.
