No here is the kicker. I just found out about this last 4 digit of the phone # as authentication. So when my wife asked how did our phone number change when she called the # on the back of the card, the operator told her, that she probably typed in the wrong phone number when setting up the account. Could you believe this? She didn't want to prove him wrong because they would cause more problems for us, but if the phone # is being used as a validation and she has checked her account multiple times over the years with the correct phone number and gets through, then it goes to prove that 1. He lied 2. That we are most likely the only ones with this type of authentication method, because he did not even realize what just said. Unbelievable.
