The Maxam Z80 assembler I was pissing around with on an Amstrad emulator not long ago just used & to indicate hex values, not sure if I've ever come across &H before, The Amstrad was an impressive little 8-bit that unfortunately North America never got to see at the time, a shame it never had hardware sprites though. Anyway, there's also base and sign designators at the end of numbers that some of the newer languages use that I've seen. These days the extent of the "coding" I do is maybe writing a Bash for loop to iterate over some files and manipulate them to what I want. The knowledge to read code and know what's going on is still there though, but get s a little hazy when bit twiddling with pointers to pointers comes into play.
