AI is already in use scanning everything you type, and everything you look at on your mobile device, your tablet, and your Windows PC or Mac.
Hashes are made locally and then those hashes are sent off to Microsoft's, Apple's, Google's servers to be analyzed by AI.
The AI specifically looks for patterns of grooming, CSAM, or copyright infringement so far. More things are being added to it as the technology emerges.
Google already sent law enforcement to a man's house for what it determined was CSAM, but in reality was images of his son that were requested and sent to the boy's doctor for legitimate medical purposes. The guy spent tens of thousands of dollars defending himself from criminal charges, and to this day is banned permanently from Google services like Gmail.

It's good to find ways to go after legitimate bad actors.

The method described above is a clear violation of the fourth amendment, and needs to stop ASAP (only it's not, it's expanding).

AI is still in its infancy and is very prone to make mistakes. It's bad when law enforcement can act on those mistakes, and are able to look at what every single person is doing on their devices WITHOUT even having a search warrant.
People need to stand up and put an end to this abuse before it's too late! The are ~~using~~ abusing the to protect the children narrative to give them very intrusive access into every single person on the planet, except of course themselves.
