This was the first act in establishing "Insurrection" to take place the next day so Nancy Pelosi could invoke a little known House Emergency Rule that would suspend the electoral certification and the protest being asserted from house and senate members disputing the electoral certification from several states.
This rule also disqualified and suspended these electoral protest when both chambers reconvened later that night and Joe Biden was certified as the 46th President of the United States.
The entire thing was a setup.
