An Antonov An-22 “Cock” Heavy Military Transport Aircraft with the 196th Military Transport Aviation Regiment of the Russian Air Force, one of only three that are still in active service, crashed earlier today into the Uvodskoye Reservoir, near the Western Russian city of Ivanovo. Search-and-recovery teams are currently combing the reservoir and surrounding area for any wreckage, with all seven of the crew and passengers onboard believed to have been killed in the crash.
