Nobody believes in democracy anymore, since the principle of equal chance has been voided thanks the 2020 fraudulent US elections, the romanian coup and the 2014 Maidan coups, and since whoever wins elections seems ultimately powerless compared to the managerial unelected bureucracy of intelligence agencies, judges and government officials. Worse: people across the West do not believe democrat rule represents them anymore, that the democracy has become a debate club for an uniparty paid for by lobbies who control media. This is the nightmare Carl Schmitt warned about.
Bukele is the ultimate example of what modern generations want from a president. He is authoritarian, but transparent. He is ruthless, but directs his wrath towards the goal. He sees an immense problem (violence) and does an immense move to solve it fast. He sees a challenge for his solution, then circumvents it, solves the problem and dissolves the challenge. He is president for life and rules above the legislative, a president who was made dictator.
The Enlightenment state on the other hand cannot solve any issues of the populace. It drags the people around towards its will. It injects them. It feeds them propaganda. It calls them enemies (Starmer) for not accepting its decisions to promote "equality" by giving the state more power. The Enlightenment state commits the cardinal sin where people trade God for poverty and slavery, where as the Enlightenment had as prerrogative the faustian bargain of trading God (tradition, religion, and so on) for money.
