I determined that it really did show a length, based upon it's speed, that corresponded with the frame rate.

I met a guy who was all messed up at a show. He was selling 'hits' from a sheet that he kept in his hand. He told me how he'd been f'd up for days. He had no idea tht holding it in his hand was a very bad idea. The stuff leached into his fingers. He was doseing himself all day by clucthing the sheet of hits in his hand! I told him this and a light came on for him! He realized why he'd been so screwed up for day! I told him to go sleep under a busch until the doses wore off.
in those days 'blotter' would be soaked and then hung to dry. The doses at the bottom would be far more potent than the one that were at the top while drying: because the stuff would flow to the bottom, much like ink or other chemicals would do. It was a crap shoot taking that stuff. You might ahve a severe and heart wrenching bummer of a time or maybe nothing at all.
it wasn't till after that the ones making finally figured all that out. They'd make it more like a pharamcuitical and it was a precise dosage. by then I'd gotten the message and hung up the phone.
I prefered mushrooms because doses from sheets were such gambles. You could munch a little bit at time until you started to feel something.

flow charts are confusing and almost useless.
the fact that they were still being taught into the 1990s proved to me that computer science engineering programs were complete frauds. It was well known by the late 60s that there were far more useful ways of charting a program.
but even more useful: does the code compile.
