Fifteen/twenty feet isn't NEARLY enough distance for Officer Safety.
If that Officer hadn't acted so fast and just as he was trained… he could have been the one injured, instead of Sonya.

Police Officers can't be expected to be held to some kind of 'higher standard'. They have a Right to make mistakes, she didn't have that Right.

The guy in the Uniform (kinda), he was directing traffic. She refused to Comply and follow his Special Government Orders. Official Legal Special Government Orders at that.
Of course they had Lawful Authority to order her from the car.
Officer Safety/Feels 'n stuff.
Besides, they put their lives on the line for We the Dirt every day.
That alone should be enough reason to do whatever they say, otherwise they couldn't do their job.
I hope the Officer gets the help he needs after such a traumatic encounter.
