The indigenous peoples of Greenland shared the island for hundreds of years, maybe longer with Scandinavian settlers.

There is a legend that a large Scandinavian village was en-masse migrating north to what they were told was a sort of Eden or promised land that they had found. The entire village, men, women, and children were mobile, and they completely abandoned their village and all they couldn't carry.

They were never heard from again and no sign of their whereabouts were ever found.

How true this is, I do not know; but I do know that I heard of this account long before current events. Long, long before.

I'll see if I can get a decent AI to find it somewhere, but I've had a sneeking suspicion that something was found in Greenland that must be protected.

Project Iceworm was a top secret operation to hide nuclear missile silos under the ice sheet, but the ice movement caused it to fail. What if like the pyramids in Antarctica, it too was just a false cover for finding a kernel of a past untold?
