There was a video on YouTube I watched years ago about cigarette manufacturing. Apparently, all the cigs that don't get sold get sent back to the manufacturer and then they take the tobacco and put it in a big tank and make a chemical slurry to extract the nicotine out of it, that they then spray on paper, I assume rolling paper, video never stated, to which they then shred and add to fresh tobacco for new cigarettes. Basically most cigarettes are not 100% tobacco.
I was able to quit once, tried every method, cold turkey, the gum, the patch, the pill, the book, the hypnotist, you name it, nothing worked. What did work for a time, 5 years without inhaling anything other than air, was vaping. I gave myself 6 months to quit, stepping down the nicotine milligrams in the vape juice each month until it was down to like 3mg. My father was a heavy smoker before his stroke and how he would hack up a lung constantly kind of scared me, because I noticed I was starting to develop a similar smoking cough but not as extreme as his was, so that's when I decided to quit. Went 5 years and then I started up again, can't even remember why now, just did. Yeah, it's a nasty habit, I'd rather smoke a pipe with some Escudo or MacBaren Vanilla Flake and not inhale the smoke, just sip it and enjoy it's flavor, but a standard pouch of tobacco is $50 where I live and if you want a tin of the fancy stuff you're looking at $70+, just can't afford pipe smoking anymore.
Nah, the plan was and still is a smokeless 2026, though that hasn't been very successful as of yet. I love the flavor of Copenhagen Snuff. Long Cut is okay, but I find it saltier than Snuff but there is less floaters. I've yet to try any Cope Wintergreen, they don't sell that where I live, but I hear it's pretty tasty. No Stokers either where I live. If I could get my hands on some Swedish snus though without having to pay an arm and a leg for duty fees, that'd be even cooler. Some Grov los or Goteburgs Rape los would be fucking amazing to have right now.
For a time I was even into the nasal snuff and would import that, it was super cheap and there were no duty fees, until they started those up under COVID. The Brits make some amazing scents. Wilsons of Sharrow Grand Cairo was nice, really liked that one. F&T's Old Paris is okay too. I fuckin' loved F&T's High Dry Toast, that shit is like buttery, smoky heaven in your nose. McCrystal's O&G is another favorite, you get that menthol opening up your airways and the base flour they use is almost biscuity, bread-like, really liked that one. Toque makes some good ones too. I really enjoy their Extra… SP. KEK. Their Cola one is pretty good and they have this one called Spanish Gem, holy fuck is that nice. People would look at me funny in public when I'd take my snuff box out and have a little sniff in front of them. Not one case of cancer reported from nasal snuff they say.

I don't recommend it to people that don't smoke, have quit it. I happen to enjoy it. Had my first smoke at 14, never picked it up regularly until 16 when I first hooked up with the chick I was with for 2/3rds of high school, she was a smoker and I eventually picked it up from her. My dad smoked, my aunts smoked, my uncles smoked, my grandmothers smoked. Lots of smokers in my family.

I mean, for short video clips I can always just link a YouTube vid if there's one short enough of what I'm looking for. Don't always have what I'm looking for though, like it'd start in the middle of a clip for what I want and there's no way to link those, or maybe you can, I've honestly never tried with the ?t= time skip option at the end of the URL. Either that or the clips are too long. I can do without GIFs.
