OBAMA’S CHINESE BABY BUMP: Obama Encouraged Chinese Birth Tourism Inside the U.S.1/2(When will Obama Be Punished)
Birth tourism from Communist China “exploded” under the watch of former President Barack Obama, allowing Chinese nationals — including Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials — to have babies in the U.S. and claim birthright citizenship, #1 New York Times bestselling investigative journalist and Breitbart News Senior Contributor Peter Schweizer reveals in his new book, The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon.
In a chapter titled “China: The Manchurian Generation,” Schweizer explains how theObama administration made Chinese birth tourism more accessible by ordering U.S. consular offices “not to deny visa applicants solely because they planned to travel to the United States to obtain citizenship for their child.”
“Obama made it so Chinese birth tourists did not even need to lie on their visa applications. The change in policy also made it harder to prosecute visa fraud cases involving birth tourism,” Schweizer writes.
Then in November 2014, the Obama administration made Chinese birth tourism “even easier” when President Obama announced a ten-year reciprocal visa agreement with China, he continues.
Other companies offer high-brow services, like award-winning chefs and Chinese medical consultations, as well as extensive consultations about living permanently in the U.S. China Mifubaby Group (Mifu), a luxury baby operation based in Irvine, California, is comprised of at least 50 properties, and nearly every property was purchased for more than $1 million with a mortgage, Schweizer reports.
“Beijing’s appeal to the Chinese elite encouraging US birth tourism has nothing to do with American values or patriotism. Birth tourism operators tout that the United States is ‘the most attractive nationality’ because of free stuff, not freedom,” he writes. “US citizens receive ‘free education from junior high school to public high school,’ and even ‘senior supplement benefits [Social Security and Medicare] when you are living overseas.’ One Chinese agency offers ‘a primer on how the US welfare system works.”’
“Another agency describes how ‘parents can apply for immigration as guardians at almost zero cost . . . [and] parents can emigrate to the United States without quota restrictions and go to California to enjoy the sunshine after retirement, as well as enjoy California’s white card program for the elderly and free medical care,”’ he continues, before quoting a birth tourism agent who says the industry’s return on investment is “higher than robbing a bank.”
Chinese baby tourism operators “frame the practice as a legitimate business model, not fraud,” Schweizer writes.
“Chinese officials seem to agree. Lawyer Liang Zhiyi explained to a Chinese government newspaper, ‘[Birth] tourism is an opportunity to make money. Operators should not waste this opportunity.’ He adds: ‘This could have a long-term positive impact on the United States. Bruce Lee is a child of childbirth travel. Maybe we can still find a genius,”’ he writes.
Schweizer emphasizes that from a CCP perspective, Chinese elites using these services “offer no evidence that they reject the CCP and embrace American or Western values.”
He points to specific examples, including a birth tourism company called Star Baby Care that has a client list including government tax officials, executives at China Telecom, Chinese Central Television, and Bank of China. USA Happy Baby, another company he writes about, reportedly has customers including people who worked for the government’s radio propaganda agency and the “feared” Public Security Bureau.

In 1997, Great Britain began the two- decade process of Hong Kong’s transition from British to communist Chinese rule. During that period, Beijing, under the auspices of the Chinese Communist Party, engineered an elaborate effort to have more than eighty- three thousand Chinese with fake identities migrate to Hong Kong. These immigrants represented 1.4 percent of Hong Kong’s population, but even more importantly, they totaled 9.12 percent of the territory’s voting population.
“These fifth columnists appear to be ordinary immigrants, but they carry the Chinese government’s official blessing,” explains scholar Yin Qian, as quoted by Schweizer.
“These migrants served as Beijing’s ‘invisible hand’ to steer the territory in the designed direction,” Qian added.

An elderly victim of cyber crime no longer has to worry how she will pay the bills thanks to investigators who turned her life around.
Seventy-one-year-old Jeanette Voss of Bennington, Vermont, was forced to obsess over saving money after cyber scammers took her life savings which was $950,000 just over four years ago, NHPR reported January 20.
Voss, who lives in a small home, rationed her car trips, unplugged appliances, and checked her bank account frequently to ensure she had enough money to live on.The outlet said when the scammers took her money, she ended up living on her Social Security checks and used food stamps for groceries.
It seemed to Voss all was lost even though she had responsibly planned for retirement.She also felt down because due to not having that money, she was unable to afford visiting loved ones who lived out of state.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2025 highlighted the problem of elder fraud, explaining that criminals target and take advantage of that vulnerable group.
“The FBI continues to work with our local, state, tribal, and federal partners to tackle elder fraud and stop those who attempt to harm the elderly,” the agency said.
However,everything changed for Voss when she learned the United States Secret Service had been working on her case and others like it.
“Investigators traced $648,000 of her funds to a cryptocurrency account associated with a man involved in the international scam ring, court records show. After seizing the crypto wallet, government officials sold the tokens in order to compensate Voss and some of the other 20-plus victims,”the NHPR article said, noting every penny was returned to her, plus interest, with a total of $1,033,000.
The United States Secret Service highlighted the case in a social media post on Monday:
Voss discovered the money in her bank account on Christmas Eve, and she is now planning to visit relatives in California. In addition, she spent some money on food for the neighborhood animals who lifted her spirits when she thought things would never change.
“I bought some raw peanuts in the shell for the squirrels. That was my big celebration, honestly. I really couldn’t think of anything that I needed,” she explained.
According to the United States Secret Service website, the elderly are disproportionately targeted by all kinds of financial scams and it “works closely with local and federal law enforcement agencies to investigate these crimes.”

Germany dumping France for Italy – Telegraph
Berlin and Rome have reportedly aligned to reshape European policy
Germany is moving to deepen ties with Italyas tensions rise with France over EU trade policy, Emmanuel Macron’s looming exit, and relations with US President Donald Trump, The Telegraph reported on Monday, citing diplomats from the bloc.
France and Germany have long been the “engine” of EU policymaking,but the outlet described Macron as a “lame duck” whose mandate ends in 2027.
“Berlin needs partners it can work with. Can they work with Macron at the moment? Not really. He is leaving office soon and France is unstable. Germans hate instability,” an EU diplomat told the outlet.
According to the report,German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has approached Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni with proposals to restructure Europe. The plan envisions a “multi-speed Europe” in which a core group of member states – including Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, the Netherlands, and France – can advance policies more quickly and bypass EU bureaucracy, although sources said not all 27 EU members are expected to join.
Italian officials said privately that the accord, whichfocuses on cooperation between Italy and Germany on defense, migration, and trade, shows a “new center of gravity inside the EU,” the British paper said.
France and Germany havelong clashed over EU governance, with Paris advocating greater borrowing and centralization while Berlin resists due to its reliance on exports to the US. During Trump’s Greenland dispute, Macron urged the bloc to use its “trade bazooka,” referring to the EU’s Anti-Coercion Instrument, a measure never before invoked. Merz criticized the move, citing German business interests, and has also expressed frustration at Macron’s inability to implement reforms amid a divided parliament and public resistance.
France’s instability is compounded by economic strain. Last year, the budget deficit reached 5.8% of GDP, above the EU target of 3%. By early 2025, public debt stood at €3.346 trillion ($3.6 trillion), or 114% of GDP. In January, the government approved the 2026 budget using a constitutional provision allowing laws to pass without a parliamentary vote. Both right- and left-wing parties have signaled plans for a no-confidence motion.
The EU as a whole faces economic pressure from high energy costs after phasing out Russian oil and gas following the 2022 escalation of the Ukraine conflict. Increased reliance on US LNG has pushed prices higher. Germany’s economy contracted in 2023 and 2024, with officials linking the slowdown to energy costs. In January, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry cited the surge in prices as a factor behind a spike in bankruptcies.
