Israel lays down demands for US-Iran nuclear deal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has insisted Tehran must be barred from enriching uranium
Any deal with Iran on its nuclear program must strip the country of the ability to enrich uranium, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has demanded.
The remarks came ahead of a second round of indirect US-Iran talks scheduled for Tuesday in Geneva, following negotiations in Oman earlier this month. The renewed diplomatic push comes after joint Israeli and US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities last year, justified as preventing Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons – an ambition it denies.
Speaking at the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations on Sunday, Netanyahu said he was “skeptical” a deal was possible, but argued that if struck, it must include three components.
“The first is that all enriched material has to leave Iran,” he stated. “There should be no enrichment capability – not stopping the enrichment process, but dismantling the equipment and the infrastructure that allows [them] to enrich.”
He added that any deal must also address Iran’s ballistic missile program.
Netanyahu said he conveyed these demands to US President Donald Trump during their meeting last Wednesday. Trump later told reporters no “definitive” agreement had been reached on how to proceed with Tehran, but that he had “insisted that negotiations with Iran continue to see whether or not a deal can be consummated.”
Over recent weeks, Trump has sent an ‘armada’ to the Middle East and threatened further attacks unless Iran agrees to a deal on both its nuclear and missile programs. Last week, he raised the prospect of regime change and announced a second carrier strike group deployment, with media reports claiming the US military was ordered to prepare for a sustained multi-week operation if talks fail.

Texas Facebook Billionaire Accused Of Violating Law To Fund Liberal Causes
A Texas philanthropist is abusing the nonprofit legal system to quietly fund Democratic priorities such as ranked-choice voting, a conservative watchdog group claims.
John Arnold’s Action Now Initiative pretends to be a social welfare organization to enjoy tax-exempt status while spending heavily on campaigns, American Accountability Foundation (AAF) alleged in an IRS complaint obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. In one instance, Action Now Initiative’s IRS filings seemingly failed to report hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on a 2020 ranked-choice voting campaign in Alaska, AAF told the agency Feb. 4, citing public records.
“Our organization fully complies with all applicable tax laws and reporting requirements, and any claim otherwise is false,” a spokesperson for Arnold Ventures, Arnold’s private company, told the DCNF in response to an inquiry sent to Action Now Initiative. Arnolds is also a board member at Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta, its website shows.
Arnold’s organizations promote gun control, lenient criminal justice policies and “racial justice,” though he has portrayed himself as opposed to “partisan” politicians. Sixty-one percent of Arnold Ventures’ campaign donations went to Democrats in 2024, according to the database Open Secrets. Action Now Initiative’s website declares its goal of supporting “the mission of Arnold Ventures to MAXIMIZE OPPORTUNITY AND MINIMIZE INJUSTICE through evidence-based policy reform.”
Records show “substantial evidence of failure to report state political spending by [Arnold] to influence a successful ballot initiative in Alaska and him abusing the federal tax code to do it,” AAF told the IRS.
Action Now Initiative spent around $3 million in 2019 and 2020 on Alaska’s ranked-choice voting ballot initiative while reporting just $2,500 in expenses for 2019 and $8,693 for 2020 in IRS filings, AAF noted. The discrepancies “strongly indicate violations” of tax law, according to the watchdog group.
“While [Arnold’s] ideology is not itself unlawful, the use of a § 501(c)(4) entity to channel large-scale electoral spending — particularly when paired with materially incomplete federal reporting — constitutes an abuse of the social welfare form and warrants heightened enforcement scrutiny,” AAF wrote.
The complaint asks the IRS to investigate Action Now Initiative’s financial disclosures, decide whether it is improperly acting as a political organization and impose “all appropriate enforcement actions” if needed, such as revocation of its tax-exempt status. The IRS did not respond to the DCNF’s request for comment.

US ambassador to Belgium urges nation to drop charges over illegal circumcisions
Accusations against three mohels for acting without medical license are ‘antisemitic,’ Bill White says; European Commission also seeking a solution to impasse over Jewish ritual
US Ambassador to Belgium Bill White has called on the country to drop all investigations against three mohels (individuals who perform circumcision) arrested last summer in a raid, calling the case antisemitic in a sharply worded post on X.
In May, police in Antwerp rounded up mohels suspected of illegally conducting the ritual Jewish circumcisions. Officials conducted early morning raids on three locations in Antwerp’s Jewish Quarter and nearby Green Quarter seeking knives and other equipment used in circumcisions, according to reports at the time.
Three mohels have been charged for performing a medical intervention without a medical license, and prosecutors now believe they have enough evidence to get a conviction, Belgian MP Michael Freilich, the country’s only Orthodox Jewish lawmaker, told The Times of Israel. A trial date has not yet been set, he said, noting it may take several months to do so.
At the time of the raids, Jewish community representatives charged that the raids were part of a larger campaign of intimidation against Jewish religious figures in Belgium. Police said they were concerned that circumcisions were being performed on Jewish baby boys by unlicensed mohels. Belgium has laws mandating that all medical procedures must be performed by a licensed doctor.
“The problem is that there is no clear law regarding circumcision at the moment,” Freilich explained at the time. “It’s not that brit milah is not allowed; it’s that there needs to be a clearer law about who can perform the procedure.”
In his post on X Monday, White called the charges against the mohels “ridiculous and antisemitic ‘prosecution.'”
The mohels “are doing what they have been trained to do for thousands of years,” he wrote.

Apple Just Bought A Sinister ‘Pre-Speech’ Tech Company Implicated In Genocide
Tech giant Apple has quietly paid nearly $2 billion for a ‘pre-speech’ tech company whose employees helped Israel commit genocide in Gaza.
And Apple has paid this money, the second-biggest deal in its history, for a company that doesn’t have a product, doesn’t have any revenues and whose website is a single page containing 15 words.
The company, Q.ai, is developing sensors which map the imperceptible movements of a human face to determine the words someone is thinking before they’re spoken.
They call it silent speech.
Or pre-speech.
And it’s exactly as sinister as you think it is.
Q.ai was founded by Aviad Maizels, Avi Barliya and Yonatan Wexler, all of whom honed their skills by testing technologies of apartheid on Palestinians. Maizels is a former commander of Unit 81, the IDF division which builds Israel’s offensive cyber weapons. Barliya, according to his LinkedIn, was an intelligence officer in the Israeli air force, while Wexler is a former Unit 8200 agent.
Apple’s genocide intake
In a blog post announcing the deal, Tom Hulme, an executive at Google Ventures, one of the company’s early investors, revealed that 30% of Q.ai’s more than 100 staff were called up to participate in the genocide of Gaza.
This admission means dozens of people implicated in genocidal acts who served under the political command of Yoav Gallant, an ICC indicted war criminal, are now Apple employees.
It should be a huge scandal. The biggest company in the US, one of the world’s most recognisable names, has folded into its staff dozens of people who served in a military during the period it committed genocide, according to all of the world’s most acclaimed rights experts.
But every single mainstream article which covered news of the deal, from Reuters to the FT, ignored this fact.
Mainstream coverage also ignored a number of other extremely cogent elements to the story, including the nature of the deal and the technology itself.
Apple has paid two billion dollars for something that barely appears to exist.
Q.ai’s website consists of just 15 words.

Israeli army closes dozens of cases involving killing of Palestinians inside torture camps
Tel Aviv delayed revealing news of the closed cases as it would open up soldiers to charges of war crimes in international courts
The Israeli military has closed dozens of war-crimes investigations into its soldiers arising from the first two years of its genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, the Jerusalem Post reported on 8 February.
Publication of the details of the case closures was delayed by fears that doing so would ease the way for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to pursue war crimes charges against the soldiers.
Many of the closed cases relate to the deaths of as many as 98 Palestinian detainees from Gaza held in military detention facilities.
Torture and rape are common in Israeli detention centers, including Sde Teiman, where a 2024 leaked video showed the gang rape of a Palestinian detainee.
"Defendants kicked, stomped… used a taser… stabbed the detainee in the buttocks with a sharp object… caused a tear in the rectal wall… Ordered the detainee to put a club in his mouth…"
Last Friday on Channel 12, Guy Peleg the journalist who originally aired the video of the Sde Teiman torture and rape incident*, read aloud the details of the event, as they are described in the indictment against the soldiers.
A right-wing panel member tried to stop him from reading, telling him that it was "like playing that video again", but had to back off because "it's been cleared with the editor".
Ever since Peleg aired the video, leaked by former Military AG Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, now under arrest, there has been nonstop incitement against him by the Israeli right wing and its many propaganda outlets.

*That is, the one incident soldiers were indicted for. Torture and rape are a daily occurrence in the military concentration camp of Sde Teiman.
However, the 100 cases where a probe has been opened make up just a “small proportion” of the roughly 3,000 cases of alleged war crimes for which a preliminary review took place.
Additional indictments may be filed in the Sdei Teiman cases, the Jerusalem Post added.
That Israel has closed many cases with no prosecutions undermines its argument that the ICC has no jurisdiction to prosecute its soldiers and politicians for war crimes.
Israel claims that it has a “robust, independent, and functioning” legal system capable of investigating any alleged wrongdoing. Therefore, according to the Complementary Principle, the ICC has no jurisdiction over its actions, Israel argues.

If Iran regime survives, Hamas will rearm, become threat to Israel again, Graham tells 'Post'
The Abraham Accords will fall apart if the Islamic Regime survives, and trust in the US will fall apart, worse than the withdrawal from Afghanistan, Senator Lindsey Graham said on Monday.
The Iranian regime is teetering on the edge of collapse, the US must follow through on its promises to aid the Iranian people or risk facing a catastrophe "worse than Afghanistan," and risks facing the fall of the Abraham Accords if the Islamic Republic regime survives, US Senator Lindsey Graham told The Jerusalem Post in a Monday interview.
Speaking following meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, opposition leader Yair Lapid, and other senior officials, and following Graham's participation in a rally of 250,000 anti-Iranian regime protesters, he described a historic window of opportunity that he believes could reshape the Middle East for a long time to come.
"Without the October 7 massacre happening, I don't believe Iran would be on the verge of regime collapse," Graham said.
"The determination of the Israeli people to make sure 'Never Again' has meaning has weakened Iran and their proxies, unlike any time since the founding of the religious Nazi state in 1979," he said, linking the current vulnerability of the Ayatollahs to Israel's military response following the massacre.
"The sacrifice of the people who have died in droves for their freedom in Iran and the determination of Israel to strike back after the massacre… those two things have led to this historic moment," he added.
Graham painted a grim picture of the world should the current uprising in Iran fail.
"If after all this, [Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali] Khamenei is still standing, then I think the Abraham Accords will eventually fall, and Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis will get stronger," he warned.
"The Arabs will go back in their corner, and [Russian President Vladimir] Putin will not take us seriously. I think China will be more likely to take Taiwan," he added.
He issued a stark warning regarding the Trump administration's pledge that "help is on the way" for Iranian protesters. He insisted that if the West falters now, American credibility will be shattered. "Once you tell the protesters to keep protesting and that help is on the way, if you don't then deliver on that promise, then it will be a generational disaster. It would be worse than Afghanistan. Nobody will trust us in the future," he predicted.
Graham compared current Iranian regime to 1930s Nazi Germany
He dismissed the concerns about the instability of regime change, comparing the situation to Germany in the 1930s.
"People probably asked in 1935: 'What's the downside of killing [Adolf] Hitler?' And I wish somebody would say it's worth it. Let's take him out. To me, it's not even a close call. Trading the Ayatollah for the protesters is a good trade for America," he affirmed.
When asked about different positions between the US and Israel, Graham said: "I believe there is no daylight between Israel and the US when it comes to regional threats, particularly Iran. I sense there are two lines in the water from [US President Donald] Trump: a diplomatic line and a military option line. And we'll see which one catches the biggest fish."
When asked if there is a deadline for the current diplomatic track, he emphasized that time is short. "We're in the area now where we have got to make some strategic decisions about diplomacy and military action in the coming weeks, not months," he said.
"I think there has to be some understanding that the longer the negotiations go, the more the consolidation of power the regime will use," he continued.

Israeli companies have developed and are selling advanced cyber tools that can hack into the tech of your car and use it to collect intelligence on you.
These tools can also assist in a cross-referencing of data to identify an intelligence target among tens of thousands of cars on the road. This technology can track the vehicle's movements in real time and potentially eavesdrop on the people inside.
In recent decades, our cars have become smart devices, a collection of computers on wheels with dozens of digital systems; the vehicle cannot properly function without an internet or cellular connection. Though this vastly improves the driving experience, it also severely risks privacy and has become a national security threat.
In the intelligence industry, such information derived from vehicles is known as CARINT, car intelligence. A Haaretz investigation has found that at least three Israeli companies are currently operating in CARINT; one has developed an "offensive" tool that can potentially tap into your car's microphones and cameras.
Three years ago, Haaretz revealed the existence of the offensive cyber intelligence company Toka, which was co-founded by former Prime Minister Ehud Barak and a former Israel Defense Forces cyber chief, Brig. Gen. (ret.) Yaron Rosen. The firm specialized in hacking into security cameras, but as documents obtained by Haaretz at the time revealed, Toka also had a product called CARINT that fused camera data with data linked to cars.
