Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, turned 66 years old on February 19, 2026, marking his birthday in relative seclusion on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, England.
This year’s celebration was notably different from past royal birthdays. The former Duke of York, who was stripped of his royal titles and honors in October 2025 following revelations about his association with Jeffrey Epstein, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office by Thames Valley Police on the morning of his birthday. At least six unmarked police cars were seen arriving at his home, Wood Farm, in Sandringham.
Andrew’s birthday passed with little fanfare, as he has been largely shunned by the Royal Family and public life since stepping back from official duties in 2019. He now lives in private accommodation on the Sandringham estate after being ordered to vacate Royal Lodge by his brother, King Charles III.
