Kash Crisis: What is the FBI Hiding?
FBI Director Kash Patel has repeatedly vowed to bring accountability and transparency to the agency, but his tenure at the top is increasingly looking like business as usual. Judicial Watch has been warning about trouble at the FBI for months. In June, we reported that conservative insiders were alarmed by signs that Patel and then-Deputy Director Dan Bongino had been taken hostage by the Deep State consensus. Conservative distress in recent weeks has mounted over Patel’s moves to shut down a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit over records in the death of January 6 victim Ashli Babbitt.
In July came bombshell news—Patel had discovered a cache of Russiagate documents in “burn bags” in a “secret room” at FBI headquarters.
A few burn bag documents were released to the public, but most were not. Along with newly disclosed material from the CIA and the Director of National Intelligence, the documents, Judicial Watch noted, added weight “to charges that starting in 2016, top government figures, including then-President Barack Obama, then-Vice President Joe Biden, [FBI Director James] Comey, CIA Director John Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Hillary Clinton and others conspired to protect the Clinton presidential candidacy, defame candidate Donald Trump, and later destroy his presidency.”
Discrepancies soon began to creep in to Patel’s descriptions of the discovery of the documents. In June, teasing their upcoming release, Patel told Joe Rogan, “Just think about this. Me, as director of the FBI, the former ‘Russiagate guy,’ when I first got to the bureau, found a room that Comey and others hid from the world in the Hoover Building, full of documents and computer hard drives that no one had ever seen or heard of. Locked the key and hid access and just said, ‘No one’s ever gonna find this place.’’
By December, the story had shifted. Patel now told Fox News that there was not “a room” but multiple rooms—secret rooms “hidden away from the map” of the building, rooms no one had access to. And many burn bags. “And once we got into those rooms,” Patel said, “we found more information related to the Russiagate hoax from prior FBI leadership. Information that was in burn bags that they wanted to have destroyed, but for whatever reason, no one ever got around to it, or they thought we would just never find it.”
The mystery deepened. Was it one room or many rooms? How many rooms? What was the history of the secret rooms? How many burn bags were there? What exactly was in the burn bags? Where did they come from? Were there other documents, perhaps not in burn bags, in the rooms?
These are not incidental questions. The FBI has a long history of burying inconvenient information.
Judicial Watch started seeking answers.
In June, we sent a FOIA request to the FBI seeking “all documents” related to the room, all FBI communications between Patel and Bongino about the discovery of the documents, and all directives sent to FBI offices about handling the documents. The FBI ignored the request—a clear violation of FOIA law.
In November, we sued the Justice Department for the secret room information. “We know Comey was spying on Donald Trump,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “He was the Obama administration’s go-to guy, trying to set Trump up to be toppled from the campaign and then from office. These hidden-room documents may contain additional smoking guns.”
Also in November, we filed a second FOIA tightly focused on the burn bags.
The FBI again ignored the lawful request.
In February, we sued again. The second lawsuit contains important new details. It zeroes in on a court filing, Document 138-12, which notes “an original referral by the Central Intelligence Agency to former FBI Director James Comey” containing “certain intelligence related to the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign.”

Missiles from Iran send millions to bomb shelters overnight
Rocket alarm sirens sound throughout the center twice just before and then after 4 a.m.; comes hours after sirens blared four times in one hour beginning just before midnight
Rocket alarm sirens sounded from Rehovot to Hadera shortly before 4 a.m. on Wednesday and again a half hour later, sending millions in central Israel and the northern West Bank to bomb shelters. There were no reported injuries. The Israeli Air Force successfully intercepted the launches from Iran.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Defense announced that the country's air defense systems intercepted missiles and drones coming from Iran.
The sirens early Wednesday morning came hours after, shortly before midnight on Tuesday night, alarms warning of missiles fired from Iran. Additional sirens sounded after midnight on Wednesday morning. The alarms also sounded in Jerusalem and the Dead Sea area, and later in the Haifa Bay and Carmel area. At the same time, an alarm was raised warning of the intrusion of an armed drone in the Galilee.
Some of the launches toward the center of the country and the Sharon region were intercepted, and others fell in open areas. No casualties were reported.
During one of the alarms, two women were slightly injured when the car they were traveling in crashed into a fence and caught fire. They were evacuated to a nearby hospital by Magen David Adom.
Earlier on Tuesday, three IDF soldiers were slightly injured by a Hezbollah drone strike on a post in Israeli territory near the Lebanese border.

Argentina's Milei says 'proud to be the most Zionist president in the world' at Yeshiva University

“I am sincerely proud to be the most Zionist president in the world," Argentinian President Javier Milei said, reaffirming his support for Israel and the Jewish people during an address at Yeshiva University on Monday, pushing back against critics and proudly claiming the mantle of the world's most pro-Israel head of state.
Speaking behind a podium bearing the seal of Yeshiva University, Milei addressed criticisms from political theorists regarding his staunch foreign policy alignment. "Hoppe [referencing libertarian theorist Hans-Hermann Hoppe] is bothered that I am a strong supporter of Israel," Milei told the audience before delivering his definitive statement of support.
The declaration was met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd, further cementing the Argentine leader's deep ideological and spiritual connection to the Jewish state.
Beyond his political support for Israel, Milei used the address to delve into his philosophical worldview, explicitly rooting the core principles of Western civilization: life, liberty, and property, in the Torah and the Ten Commandments.
"For us, and that's written in the tablets of the law: stealing is wrong, killing is wrong," Milei stated. He went on to explain how the concept of freedom is deeply embedded in the biblical narrative of the Exodus. Citing the first commandment, he noted, "Freedom is enshrined… when it says, 'I am the creator, 'I mean, I am not reproducing it verbatim, you know why, let's say, 'the one who took you out of Egypt.' In other words, freedom is enshrined, life is enshrined, and property is enshrined."
Milei, an anarcho-capitalist who has long expressed a deep personal interest in Judaism and has frequently sought the counsel of rabbis, made it clear that these biblical principles are absolute.
Milei: Biblical values are 'non-negotiable'
"Those values are non-negotiable," the Argentine president emphasized. "There are things that we are not willing to negotiate. And it is on these values that the civilizing feat of the West has been built."
Taking a firm stance against modern philosophical trends, Milei rejected moral relativism, arguing instead for an objective moral truth derived from religious texts. "There is no moral relativism for everything. No, there is a set of basic values that cannot be violated. And those values are found in the Holy Scriptures," he concluded.

Millions in tax-deductible donations to IDF, illegal settlements
An Australian charity receiving over $200 million in tax-deductible donations is ignoring international law, while the Government looks the other way.
Jewish National Fund Australia (JNF Australia) has remitted more than $125.4m to Israel since 2009, according to financial records, while receiving $213m in tax-deductible donations since 2013.
In 2024 alone, the organisation reported $12m in donations and bequests, with $10.4m transferred to Israel.
Despite JNF Australia’s assertion that it operates independently of its Israeli parent, Keren Kayemet LeYisrael (KKL-JNF), an investigation by MWM has revealed that tax-deductible donations raised by JNF Australia have been directly transferred to KKL-JNF. Some of these funds have been used to support IDF soldiers and fund illegal settlements.
Independent really?
JNF Australia has repeatedly stated that it operates independently of KKL-JNF in Israel.
In 2017, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu demanded that KKL-JNF transfer 80% of its revenue to the Finance Ministry to help fund state-run infrastructure projects or risk losing its tax-exempt status.
Following the announcement, JNF Australia declared that it was a “separate independent entity” from KKL-JNF. They stated that “funds raised by JNF Australia go directly towards these projects, with not one dollar used to fund KKL”
In 2021, KKL-JNF’s board voted to officially permit the purchase of private land in the occupied West Bank for settlement expansion, a decision that was criticised as an open violation of international law.
Shortly after the decision, JNF Australia’s president and CEO again attempted to distance the organisation from its Israeli parent, stating that the Australian body was “an independent entity from KKL”.
“JNF Australia only applies donor contributions towards JNF Australia projects and priorities [and] is therefore unaffected by any changes to KKL’s priorities and policies, whether in respect to land acquisition or elsewhere,” they said, adding that the organisation “has no representatives on the KKL board, nor is it involved with or bound by any of their decisions”.
However, our analysis of Israeli financial filings shows that JNF Australia has transferred millions of dollars directly to KKL-JNF (also known as the Israel National Fund) since making these statements.
Although the sources of foreign donations were redacted in Israel National Fund’s 2024 financial report, financial reports lodged in previous years identify Australia as a source of overseas donations.
