Every second counts unloading payloads, which is why my suggestion of electrified units would safeguard these critical operations. Think about it. An Electrified Brigade on a Tripoli sized carrier, could simultaneously launch about 100 manned or unmanned water drones carrying a soldier and EUC or Ebike payloads, as 100 or more jetsons take to the air, securing an area for hovercraft carrying heavier armor and supplies to shore. This will allow us to get closer to areas of operations.

US Marines need more than our thoughts and prayer, but some modern complimentary tech. Hovercrafts are great for deploying troops and armor to shore but are limited in their speed, vulnerable, and can only carry one tank at a time and maybe two smaller vehicles. With the advent of drones and ballistic missiles, we need to move faster to secure a beach head. By the time you get one to unload a payload in order to defend itself, my suggestions would put 100 Marines on that same beach head and in the air over miles to prepare the way for the slow monolithic heavy payloads and take their vulnerability away. Because these electrified units are around 80 pounds for an EUC, 120 pounds for a power station cargo Ebike, and Jetsons are about 250 pounds, and 300 pounds for water drones, the requirement for a ship to handle these vehicles is way less than a vehicle or armored vehicle. We need this today.

US Mil:

If you consider a vessel like @ 15:11 of this video, that vessel could provide this solution right now. Those submersible loading docks could probably deploy about 50 manned or unmanned water drones carrying a soldier with an EUC or EBike power station , and that deck could easily launch 100 2 seater jetsons, every 10 - 15 minutes, without anything being modified. Before one LHC gets to shore, you would have a few hundred forces on the coastline at various locations, with the ability to transverse at least 100 miles with no troop fatigue. The more I think about it, the more sene it makes.

Coupled this with MEU ability to have single launches of heavy fire power of Apaches, F35s, ospreys, A10s, and Blackhawks, and I think an electrified force would give the simultaneous launch coverage that we currently do not have and bring the most eyes on, in the shortest amount of time, without question.

I am not specifically talking about just the Straits alone but any sea launched ground invasion or excursion and giving a solution to safeguard the lives of Marines that are asked to do so much with so little, where the newest threats of drones and ballistics is the modern battlefield.
