That's your only solution really. Either admit this was a terrible mistake, or take it to full blown escalation. Either way not looking good for the GOP come mid-terms and they are already planning to throw Trump under the bus.
I voted for Trump, expecting this would have NEVER happened. I really truly believed he was anti-war, he even admitted we should not be at war in the middle east several times the past couple years. Then came the bombing of Iran. I previously warned if he were to start another huge Middle East war this would TANK his popularity and his presidency. Now we are seeing it happen. Approval is sinking to all time lows. This was THE DUMBEST thing Trump could have done to himself. Iran has been preparing for this stupid war for decades. That's why the administration is in such panic and disbelief and even our "allies" don't want anything to do with this stupid war.
It would cause a civil war.
I voted for Trump/Vance, not for Bush/Cheney 3.0. I was never in some cult. Had I known this would cause another long-term disastrous destabilizing war I would have stayed home and NOT VOTED. Guess what I'll be doing come mid-terms???
