EASTON, Wash. — BNSF Railway is working to address a washout on its Stampede Subdivision near Easton, Wash., the railroad said on Saturday, March 21.
The washout was reported about 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20, according to a customer advisory. It was not able to provide an estimate for reopening the line.
Easton is about 38 miles from Ellensburg, Wash., the eastern limit of the Stampede Sub, and about 87 rail miles from Seattle.
