Key Iranian Desalination Projects

Persian Gulf Desalination Plant (Hormozgan): A major project using reverse osmosis to produce up to 1,000,000 m3 of water daily, featuring membrane technology and energy recovery devices.

Makran Desalination Plant (Chabahar): Located near the port of Chabahar, it uses Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) to produce 40,000 cubic meters of potable water daily, operated by MAPNA Group.

Bandar Lengeh Plant: Located in Hormozgan province, this plant treats water from coastal wells for local supply.
