According to Fox News, on the night of the American navigator’s rescue, U.S. forces simultaneously struck a bunker used as the general headquarters of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) using GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator bombs dropped from B-2 Spirit bombers.
That must have been one heck of a command bunker if those kinds of munitions were required to penetrate it.
A senior Ayatollah in Iran has issued a clear Islamic ruling:

The U.S. carried out a B-2 bomber strike on an underground IRGC HQ in Tehran, dropping bunker-buster bombs during the rescue window.
Ordered by CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper, multiple B-2s flew a 36-hour round trip from Whiteman Air Force Base, dropping massive bunker-buster bombs (the same type used against Iranian nuclear sites).
The strike targeted a location where senior IRGC commanders were gathered, with U.S. officials saying the facility was destroyed and many commanders are presumed killed
An Iranian drone strike on a U.S. air base in Kuwait injured 15 American personnel, most of whom have already returned to duty.
Overall, 373 U.S. service members have been injured in the operation so far, with the majority back in service and five listed as seriously wounded.
