πΊπΈπ²π¦β‘οΈ- A Moroccan military search team has recovered one of the bodies from the two U.S. Service members who went missing last week during AFRICOM exercise African Lion 26.
AFRICOM has identified the soldier as 1st Lt. Kendrick Lamont Key Jr., 27, of Richmond, Virginia. He was a platoon leader assigned to Charlie Battery, 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command.
His body was found along the shoreline roughly one mile from where both soldiers entered the ocean. The search and rescue mission is still underway for the second missing soldier.
