Vitamins D&C + zinc is all I use. Before COVID I used to get sniffles about once or twice a year, would get a full blown flu about every 3-5 years. With COVID I did some studying found out about D. Since then I make sure to get plenty of direct full sun in the winter, use a UVB lamp during extended periods without sun. Haven't had the flu since. I catch myself grinding my throat a couple of times each winter, spike my C and zinc overnight, all gone by morning.
Results may vary.

My grandfather had paranoid dementia late in his life. He was absolutely convinced there were people bringing sheep on cables down the hillside cross the way. Didn't make it true.
If you like the life is a dream routine, that's fine. I am more of the "the limits of my imagination are not a barrier to reality" sort.

Like I said, if that works for you fine.
My preference is direct sunlight. even window glass can block out the UVB from the sun. But where I live we can have up to two weeks of storms. Since D is consumed in about 4 days I use the lamp as a supplement. I doubt it is enough by itself but I think it helps slow the loss.
My issue with the oral D is that I don't think it is the same. My research said that it is possible to OD on the oral stuff, not possible with what the body makes in the skin. The two are slightly different chemically as well.
Just my reasoning.
Quick test when meeting someone new.
Find something you disagree with them about, then see how determined they are to convince you to agree with them. If they absolutely cannot accept your disagreement they are a fanatic. Get away from them. Run don't walk.
The sooner they get to the "agree to disagree" state the more likely they are to be a potential friend.
