FBI offers $200K reward for ex-U.S. agent accused of spying for Iran

Authorities say Monica Witt defected to Iran in 2013 and later helped Iranian intelligence target former U.S. colleagues.

WASHINGTON — The FBI is offering a $200,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of former U.S. counterintelligence agent Monica Witt, who was charged in 2019 with espionage related to allegedly providing classified information to Iran.

The FBI Washington Field Office announced the reward Thursday, saying Witt remains at large more than a decade after authorities say she defected to Iran in 2013.

Witt, a former U.S. Air Force intelligence specialist and special agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, served in the military from 1997 to 2008 before later working as a government contractor. According to the FBI, her work gave her access to classified information, including the identities of undercover U.S. intelligence personnel.

Federal prosecutors alleged in a 2019 indictment that Witt shared sensitive national defense information with the Iranian government and helped Iranian intelligence services target her former U.S. colleagues.

Authorities said Witt attended an anti-American conference in Iran in 2012 before later returning to the country, where she allegedly received housing and computer equipment from Iranian officials.

The FBI said Witt’s alleged actions benefited Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, or IRGC, which the U.S. government has accused of supporting terrorist organizations and conducting intelligence operations targeting Americans.

“Monica Witt allegedly betrayed her oath to the Constitution more than a decade ago by defecting to Iran and providing the Iranian regime National Defense Information and likely continues to support their nefarious activities,” Daniel Wierzbicki, special agent in charge of the FBI Washington Field Office’s Counterintelligence and Cyber Division, said in a statement. “The FBI has not forgotten and believes that during this critical moment in Iran’s history, there is someone who knows something about her whereabouts,” he added.

The same 2019 indictment also charged four Iranian nationals with conspiracy and aggravated identity theft for allegedly helping Witt gather information about former U.S. intelligence personnel.

Anyone with information about Witt’s whereabouts is urged to contact the FBI through its tip line or local offices.

o let me get this straight..

Trump just built a ballroom at the White House..

and the roof is a military drone port with 360-degree vision of all of Washington DC..

the same roof that bounces incoming drones off like rubber.. also launches drones to protect the entire capital..

and it sits on top of a massive underground military complex replacing the bunker every president has used since FDR..

and the wildest part.. this is privately funded.. ahead of schedule.. and DOJ already filed court documents calling it a national security necessity..

so the "ballroom" is a drone-proof military platform on top of a presidential bunker.. and Trump described every single feature of it out loud on May 19, 2026..

they told you it was an event space..

turns out "event space" was just the sales pitch until they figured out how to build a military installation on top of the most protected address in America.

I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications.

BREAKING NEWS OUT OF GEORGIA: A Fulton County judge has officially ORDERED that Georgia State Election Board members be granted access to Brad Raffensperger’s controversial “secret bunker” where statewide election results are aggregated.

The order, signed by Judge Earl Glanville, was filed this morning and marks a major victory for election transparency advocates after months of backlash over the locked-down facility being hidden from board members, candidates, and the public.

“There should be equal access and transparency for everyone.” - @1stVCGAGOP

Grubbs also raised serious concerns about @GaSecofState

allies allegedly having insider access to election operations while election integrity advocates and even board members were shut out.

She further accused Raffensperger of placing election workers in difficult legal territory by reportedly visiting county election offices while actively running for governor - citing Georgia election law restrictions on candidates being present around ballot processing operations.

“If Georgia’s elections are truly the cleanest and most transparent in the country… why keep this place secret?”

Massive development in Georgia election oversight.

Clark Construction (specifically Clark Construction Group, based in Maryland/Bethesda) is the lead/general contractor for the main White House ballroom construction project.

nytimes.com

This has been consistently reported since the project's announcement in July 2025. The White House itself stated that "the construction team will be headed by Clark Construction," with the project involving a large ~90,000 sq ft addition (replacing/expanding the East Wing area) for the ballroom and related spaces.

Other key firms involved (yes, more than one):

AECOM: Lead engineering firm.

blumenthal.senate.gov

ACECO LLC (Silver Spring, Maryland): Handled demolition of the East Wing (a separate but related early phase of the work).

constructiondive.com

Architects: Originally McCrery Architects (James McCrery II); later replaced by Shalom Baranes Associates (with McCrery staying on in a consulting role after disagreements over scale/deadlines).

Clark is the primary builder for the core construction (often described as leading a consortium), while the project uses multiple specialized firms for engineering, demolition, and design. There may be various subcontractors under Clark for trades, but public reporting focuses on these main players.

Note that the project has faced scrutiny over contracting processes (e.g., no-bid elements for related work), costs, funding (claimed private for the ballroom itself, with debates over security features), and legal halts/delays, but Clark remains the central construction contractor as of the latest available info.

Not sure why no bid matters if it's private money.

Remember how the White House went Dark when Biden moved in?

Reminds me of Dubya; There was so much commotion over HIS stealing of the election, He couldn't get out of his car and walk the last past. He had to go around and enter via the back door.

Figures.
