Second UFO Sphere Recovered Deep in Jungle After Elderly Couple Sighting

A strange new UFO story emerging from Colombia is drawing attention online after reports claimed an elderly couple witnessed a glowing metallic sphere descend into a remote jungle before investigators allegedly recovered the object hours later.
The account, discussed by UFO commentators and researchers connected to journalist Jaime Maussan, describes what some are calling the 'Valdivia Sphere' – a mysterious orb-like object reportedly found after a nighttime sighting deep in the forest.
According to details shared by researcher Gonzalo Chavez, the elderly couple first noticed the glowing sphere flying overhead late at night. They reportedly managed to record the object as it moved across the sky before descending into the jungle nearby.
Rather than fleeing the area, the couple stayed outside for hours watching the forest, hoping the object would rise back into the air.
After roughly three hours with no further movement, they contacted a local UFO investigation unit, which organised an expedition into the jungle to search for the object.
Maussan said the object was later retrieved by William Zuniga in the mountain range of Valdivia, Antioquia, Colombia.
Investigators Claim Sphere Was Found in Dense Jungle
According to the story, the recovery mission involved a difficult trek through dense terrain before one investigator reportedly located the sphere resting in the jungle.
Video footage circulating online appears to show researchers shining laser pointers at a metallic spherical object partially hidden among vegetation. Other clips shared on Jaime Maussan's channel allegedly show the sphere glowing faintly during the initial encounter.
The object has since become the subject of intense speculation within UFO circles, with some comparing it to the earlier 'Buga Sphere' case that gained traction online after claims of unusual markings and unexplained internal structures.
According to reports, the second sphere is distinct from the original Buga sphere, but it shares several similarities, including equatorial lines and holes that supposedly contain fibre optics.
While no official scientific organisation has authenticated the object, the story has spread rapidly across social media platforms and UFO communities.
Comparing the Buga Sphere to the Valdivia Sphere
The first sphere was seen in 2025 March when a farmer found the seamless metallic orb after it fell from the sky and hit a powerline in Buga, Colombia.
According to researcher Jose Luis Velasquez, who inspected the Buga Sphere, the object had no welds or joints, features that indicate that it was made by a human.
'It is a very rare piece … I've never seen a piece like this', Velasquez then told People Magazine. Upon conducting X-ray scans into the sphere, they found out that it had three metal-like layers and contained nine microspheres in its interior.
Velasquez added that it might be of extraterrestrial origin due to its lack of welds or joints. Reports also suggested that the Buga Sphere allegedly responded to Sanskrit mantras and Vedic chants.
Meanwhile, the Valdivia Sphere, weighing 13 kilogrammes (29 pounds), carries no Proto Sanskrit glyphs as compared to the Buga Sphere, Maussan said, but it has the same shape, construction, and surface etchings.
It also has an unknown internal artifact not found in the original Buga sphere. Maussan stated that both objects show identical advanced traits, and he is now cooperating with an American laboratory for testing.
CT Scans Raise More Questions Than Answers
Researchers connected to the case claim the sphere was later subjected to CT scans, revealing complex internal structures that some online commentators described as unusual.
Images reportedly from the scans show layered interiors, circular components, and symmetrical features that investigators say deserve further study.
The sphere allegedly contains equatorial grooves and small openings that some researchers speculated could involve fibre-optic-like materials.
However, investigators also revealed a major complication: the sphere had apparently already been cut open and resealed before the current research team obtained it.
Maussan reportedly warned viewers that because the object had been tampered with, scientists could not yet confirm whether it was authentic or possibly part of a hoax.
Researchers involved with the investigation said future scientific findings would remain private until they could be properly verified or definitively debunked.

Ex-NASA Official Claims He Was Shown ‘Flying Saucer’ UFO Footage By Air Force Officer

Former NASA Chief Flight Surgeon and Air Force Major, Dr. Gregory Rogers, claims he was shown “flying saucer” UFO footage by another Air Force major in 1992. Not only that, Rogers claims the “flying saucer” UFO had the U.S. Air Force logo on it.
Dr. Rogers, 68, is only coming forward now with this revelation after retiring from the Department of Defense (DoD) last month. He told DailyMail.com that he is doing so in support of other whistleblowers who have shared similar tales.
“I know exactly what I saw that day, and it was in no fashion a conventional flying vehicle,” he said.
“I have heard a number of members of Congress express their desire to hear more of the experiences of any additional whistleblowers.
Therefore, I am presenting my story. I hope that my report may stimulate others to reveal whatever they have similarly witnessed.”
Dr. Rogers said he was was stationed at the NASA facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida when another U.S. Air Force Major approached him and said, “Hey Doc, I got something to show you. It’ll knock your socks off.”
“I’m thinking, “What on earth is this guy doing?'” Rogers said. “He sits down at the computer console. It takes several minutes, then all of a sudden up on the screen comes this closed circuit television feed.”
He said the UFO footage he was shown was taken in a standard aircraft hangar. But what he witnessed was anything but standard.
“There’s a flying saucer,” Dr. Rogers recalled. “I would estimate it was about 20 feet wide, probably 8 to 10 feet tall, and it had a shallow dome on top of it,’ he added.
There were no antennas, there were no flight control surfaces. Everything was very smooth and blended. I saw no rivets, no seams, nothing. There was a little area on top which had a stick coming out of it.
At the top of it were umbilical hoses, like if you were feeding gasses or electricity into it. Everything was white, but there was a vertical black rectangle at the three o’clock, the six o’clock and the nine o’clock position on the upper half of the vehicle.”
What he saw next truly astonished him.
“I hear and see these things that look like electromagnetic charges coming off this vehicle. But there’s no devices from which they’re emanating,” he told DailyMail.com.
“All of a sudden it just lifted up, as smooth as could be,” he said. “Once it got up maybe three feet above the concrete surface, it rotated completely around, clockwise, one revolution, then it revolved counterclockwise, one revolution.”
When he asked the Air Force Major why they had created a flying saucer, the Air Force officer pointed his thumb to the sky and said, “We got it from them.”
He added that just like back then, government officials are trying to obfuscate the truth. “We are having videos from FA-18s and from other governmental sources that are showing these things are here,” he said.
“We don’t even have to debate anymore, are UAPs [Unidentified Aerial Phenomena] real? We know they’re real.”

Alien invasion 'could trigger global political and financial crisis' and cause chaos

An alien invasion could trigger a global financial and political crisis, a space boffin has warned. Alien-hunter Avi Loeb said the stock market may crash if we are visited by ETs due to financial uncertainties.
And he warned that all nations must show restraint against UFOs, adding: "An irresponsible militaristic response from one of them towards the visitor could have a devastating effect on all of us."
He said: "Realizing that we are visited by the products of a sibling in the cosmic family of technological civilizations would also have a profound impact on geopolitics. It would pose a potential threat to all earthlings because we are all in the same boat."
The Harvard professor said he expected us to encounter a technological device guided by AI rather than a biological visitor such as ET, as portrayed in Steven Spielberg's 1982 hit film.
But he warned: "One thing is clear: we must observe our dating partner to learn more about its qualities and intent and make sure that it is not a serial killer."
The first batch of secret US government files on flying saucers was released to the public earlier this month.
Avi, who warned aliens are likely to be smarter and more advanced than humans, previously said he felt they could "teach us things that we can imitate, that we can aspire to, will give us a meaning to our cosmic existence".
And in his latest blog post, he writes: "The discovery of cosmic neighbours will affect religious beliefs by implying that God is not a parent of a single child.
"But the same discovery will also be humbling to secular people, because it would suggest that our cosmic siblings are more accomplished than we are. After all, their technological products reached our home planet before we reached their point of origin.
"Perhaps alien brains do not possess better cognitive skills but they simply had the benefit of more than a century of science and technology since discovering quantum mechanics.
"Once we meet their amazing vehicles, we would be shocked to learn about their advanced science and technology."
Earlier this year, financial expert Helen McCaw wrote the Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey to urge a contingency plan be drawn up if it was proven aliens did exist.
She wrote: "If banks start failing, the payment system will collapse, and you'll have rioting… it's madness not to consider it and plan."
