JUST IN: F-16 fighter jets intercepted a civilian aircraft that violated the air space around the National Capital Region on Tuesday.
It happened around 11:15am. NORAD says the aircraft entered the Special Flight Rules Area. Fighter jets intercepted it and make sure it remained clear of restricted airspace without further incident.
