I agree with Turley. The problem is not where a legislator is born but where their loyalties lie. If recent events have shown nothing else they have proven that loyalties are not a product of place of birth.
Note that Turley said "foreign-born" not "illegal alien".
It is incumbent upon us as citizens to 1) vet those that seek permanent entry to ensure their loyalties lie with us, and 2) to ensure that those who enter unlawfully do not gain a position of power or trust. We do this by selecting those for power that will setup and implement the systems to do so. And withdrawing our support from those we have entrusted with power who abuse it, regardless of the letters that appear after their name.
