The Dark Wolf Nebula

A dark wolf lies in gum. No, this isn’t a riddle! Today's image features the Dark Wolf Nebula (Sandqvist–Lindroos 17), a spooky dust cloud embedded within the Gum 55 (RCW 113) Nebula in the Scorpius constellation. While dust is a pest to us, it serves a vital role in creating the necessary conditions for stars to be born. The Dark Wolf absorbs the intense ultraviolet and visible light emitted by young stars in Gum 55 and re-emits it at longer, mainly infrared, wavelengths. This prevents the higher energy light from heating up the gas in the region. When a region of gas is cool enough, gravity takes over and causes the gas to collapse into a star. Not only does dust act as an interstellar thermostat, but it is also the meet-cute for single hydrogen atoms forming molecular hydrogen, the building block for stars. The seemingly sinister Dark Wolf is actually a harbinger of cosmic life.

I was driving with my 3 kids in the car. It was really raining and the sky was green. Lots of wind. I “heard” a VERY LOUD voice tell me STOP THE CAR. I immediately pulled over. At the same time, a giant tree fell on the road right in front of us. We were driving into a tornado. 🌪️

My SUV caught on fire on the highway. By the time I got out the inside was filling with smoke & within 5 minutes of getting out, it went up in flames. I went to see it a few days later & the rosary given to me the day my sister went back to God was untouched along with angel cards on my front passenger seat. 🙏❤️💯✝️💫🌞💥♾️⚖️🎵🕊🦅

Many years ago when I was a kid, early 80's, I was riding my bicycle about to turn onto a busy road. All of a sudden I fell, almost felt like I came to a sudden stop and just fell over. As I hit the ground a school bus came by, maybe 2' from me. If I had not fell I'm sure I would have been hit, all that happened was I busted my lip. Now that I'm older, looking back I'm positive someone was there protecting me.

I wasn’t driving so I shut my eyes knowing this was it and I know my spirit guide and birth angel together must have saved us. A year or two after my dad transitioned I felt him pat me on top of the head one night. This happened when I was particularly worried about finances in my past forward. Numerous times after that I felt his presence.

Yes Matt, it's a day I'll never forget. When I was 21 years old my friend & I were at Horseneck Beach, it was a very hot summer day. We decided to go for a swim, we went out way over our heads then she decides she's going to swim back towards the shore. I said, me too, but I was getting tired, Im always weak swimmer, I could feel the current pulling me out further, I was trying not to panic, but in my mind, I was so scared, I thought - God please help me. In that moment, it felt like someone lifted me & held me while I swam back to shore, I felt light, like I was gliding through the water. I think it was my father whom God sent to help me, because I would've drown ( he passed when I was 3, he was an amazing, strong swimmer, cliff diver, too) my life was saved that day. ️

I was night walking 2 dachshunds and encountered a territorial dog who had escaped his fence. He attacked. As I pulled one dog away, he would attack the other, I couldn't get away. I was both praying and screaming for help. When 10 minutes passed without any response, the world STOPPED. I was in a silent bubble, information came to me that - I didn't have to worry. I was surrounded at all times. I was told help was coming. The bubble popped just as a pickup truck came screeching over from across the road. The driver jumped out and wrestled the dog to the ground. And his girlfriend came over to comfort me. Sometimes we have to wait.

A shocking incident was caught on camera after a vehicle burst into flames and exploded near the famous Charging Bull statue in Lower Manhattan on May 19, triggering panic among tourists and office workers in the busy Wall Street area.

The incident took place near Broadway and Stone Street at around 5:42 pm, according to the Fire Department of New York (FDNY).

Videos circulating on social media showed the vehicle suddenly bursting into flames while parked along the roadside. Within moments, the blaze intensified, engulfing the vehicle before a powerful explosion sent a massive fireball into the air, shocking tourists and office workers nearby.

Eyewitness footage showed people gathered near the popular tourist attraction running away in panic as smoke spread rapidly through the area.

The vehicle reportedly appeared to be linked to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), although officials have not yet confirmed ownership details.

Soon after the incident, FDNY firefighters rushed to the spot after receiving emergency calls about the blaze. Emergency responders worked for more than an hour to bring the fire under control and secure nearby streets.

Authorities said the fire was fully extinguished shortly before 7 pm. Police also temporarily restricted access to parts of the area as a precautionary measure.

Officials confirmed that no injuries or deaths were reported in the incident. Despite the intensity of the explosion, firefighters successfully prevented the flames from spreading to nearby buildings and vehicles.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Authorities said mechanical failure and other possible causes have not been ruled out.
