Not a catholic so correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me way back when there was a big uproar over whether mass should be delivered in anything other than latin. Now it is exactly the opposite argument?
I'm not saying they should or they shouldn't. Again, not a catholic, so I really don't care which way it comes down. I just find it interesting that they can't seem to keep their position square. The way I heard it the original dispute boiled down to attracting new followers vs. maintaining control as only the highly educated of the time knew latin, so if the sermons were in latin then god said whatever the priests claimed god said.
