West no longer hiding plans for war with Russia – Putin

NATO countries have forced Moscow to take action to defend its interests and label it as a threat to justify increased military spending, the president says

Western nations are no longer hiding their preparations for war with Russia, President Vladimir Putin has said, adding that NATO and EU leaders are using “false claims” about the supposed ‘Russian threat’ to justify rampant militarization.

Putin made the remarks on Tuesday during a ceremony in the Kremlin for graduates of Russia’s military, security, and law enforcement academies, saying NATO’s posture has shifted from supporting Kiev with weapons and funding to outright preparations for war.

“Now, they are openly saying that they are preparing for war with us, increasing military offensive budgets,” Putin said. He argued that Western governments are using the same playbook that has always been used against Russia.

“At first, they create threats for our country, force us to take actions necessary for self-defense, and then immediately accuse us of all mortal sins to justify the continuation of their aggressive policy,” he said, drawing parallels to the attempts by Nazi Germany and other Western countries to label the Soviet Union as the aggressor after Germany launched a surprise invasion in 1941.

Putin’s remarks come as NATO’s European members and Canada raised defense spending by 20% in real terms in 2025, reaching a combined $574 billion, citing the supposed ‘Russian threat’. Moscow has dismissed speculation that it plans to attack NATO countries as “nonsense.”

Turning to Ukraine’s drone campaign against Russian cities, Putin said the strikes on civilian infrastructure are designed “to rock society” rather than achieve military aims. “When the whole West is working for them, with this huge flow of drones, [the aim is] to create doubt in the actions of the Russian Armed Forces,” he said.

Putin noted, however, that European nations are still reluctant to launch strikes on Russia from their own territory because “they understand that there will be retaliation.”

Putin’s comments came as Ukraine continues to carry out long-range strikes deep into Russia, which often lead to civilian casualties. Last week, Kiev launched a drone raid on Moscow – the largest in two years – with Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reporting the destruction of 194 drones. The attack damaged an oil refinery, a shopping center, and several residential buildings, with more than a dozen people injured.

A Palestinian farmer and his three-year-old son were ambushed by IDF troops near the Gaza border, leaving the child dead and the father badly wounded. The devastated man told RT about the tragic events.

Speaking from a hospital in Deir Al-Balah, Central Gaza, Baha Abu Al-Ajeen said he was tending his land and was driving along a rural road near the ‘yellow line’ when Israeli soldiers suddenly appeared and ordered his vehicle to stop. His son, who was sitting in his arms, began to cry, he said.

“From the first bullet, I stopped completely to avoid getting killed,” he said. “The first bullet hit the road while the second hit the child directly while he was in my arms… A soldier shot the child right in the head.” Abu Al-Ajeen said the next round hit his leg, shattering the bone.

The soldiers refused to call an ambulance and took away his phone, telling him that no calls or medical help would be allowed. The man was held “for hours in a military vehicle” while the wounded child remained in his arms, and “right after my son died in my arms, they took him away from me,” before he was dropped off at an unknown location and eventually reached Al-Aqsa Hospital.

Responding to RT’s request for comment, the IDF said the soldiers “initiated standard suspect apprehension procedures, which included warning fire,” and that “it was reported that, as a result of the fire, one Gazan was killed and another was injured.”

While the globe's attention has been fixated on efforts to finally achieve US-Iran peace, based on negotiations in Switzerland, the Russia-Ukraine war has been quietly (or not so quietly) heating up, as evidenced in the increasingly brazen Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow and Crimea.

A slew of Ukrainian publications on Tuesday are reporting that this is in large part due to a White House greenlight to bring the war to Russian territory, in order to finally get significant concessions from Moscow, after over four years of grinding and a largely stalemated conflict.

"Ukraine now believes it has secured White House backing for a campaign aimed at forcing Russia into meaningful negotiations, the Kyiv Independent has learned," one such prominent English-language publication says.

The key claim is that President Trump privately told President Volodymyr Zelensky to act "more boldly," a senior Ukrainian official has claimed to several outlets.

"Trump says he doesn't really believe (Vladimir) Putin will do anything without pressure," the official, said to have been briefed on a recent Trump-Zelensky meeting, added.

"President (Trump) believes in peace through strength," one US official separately added.

According to Trump, who was recently asked about lukewarm efforts to get the warring sides back to the negotiating table…

"I don't mind," the American President said. "I mean, let them deal."

Ukraine's Zelensky had just days ago proclaimed: "I will not travel to Moscow to meet with Putin. We can meet in Turkey, Switzerland, or the Middle East."

Washington has clearly taken a step back after the prior big Putin-Trump summit in Alaska failed to produce any significant or lasting results in Ukraine, other than perhaps improving Moscow-Washington relations.

If it's true that Trump did indeed tell Zelensky to act 'more boldly' - this will music to the UK, France, Germany, and Baltic states' ears… they have wanted a clearer US greenlight to impose heavy costs on Russia.

But obviously the situation remains highly dangerous, given if they poke the nuclear-armed Russian bear too much, the war could finally escalate beyond just Ukraine and Russia's borders.

The problem is that this has all been tried before, and Russia only escalates in turn, seeking to clarify its red lines to the West. It's long been a proxy war, but things can always slide into dangerous open confrontation and conflict with NATO.

FDA Altered Autopsy Results of Children Who Died After COVID Vaccines

In November 2025, the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research identified 10 child deaths related to the COVID-19 shots. In December 2025, the agency reduced the number to seven after revising at least two of the children’s autopsies, according to documents released last week by Sen. Ron Johnson.

Scientists at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) revised the autopsy results of children who died after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, reducing the number of children the agency classified as having likely died as a result of their vaccination, according to documents released last week by Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.).

The documents show that in November 2025, the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) identified 10 child deaths related to the COVID-19 shots. But in December 2025, it reduced the number to seven and downgraded the probability that those deaths were connected to the children’s vaccination.

The Daily Caller, which first reported, quoted two former FDA officials and a forensic pathologist who performed two of the children’s autopsies. One of the FDA officials told the outlet the emails reveal “a coverup” by the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Johnson included the documents in a letter sent last week to U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., CDC Acting Director Jay Bhattacharya and FDA Acting Commissioner Kyle Diamantas.

Even the reduced number of deaths was enough to trigger concern among some FDA scientists about the safety of the COVID-19 shots, Johnson’s letter stated.

“Although what drove the decision to change these three cases remains to be seen, what is clear is that these officials appear to have determined that the seven cases warranted warning about the risks,” Johnson wrote. These risks “should have raised serious concerns at HHS and CDC about the mRNA COVID-19 Injections.”

Even after the downgrade, the FDA’s Division of Pharmacovigilance recommended revising the label of the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA COVID-19 vaccines to include a warning about the risk of “myocarditis with fatal outcomes.”

The change was never made, for reasons that are not clear.

Myocarditis is widely associated with the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and, with reports of deaths connected to the vaccines, particularly among teenage and young adult males.

Sen. Johnson: ‘The biggest government scandal’ of his lifetime

Johnson, who chairs the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, is investigating a potential federal cover-up of COVID-19 vaccine risks.

In a post on X earlier this month, Johnson called the cover-up “way bigger than Watergate.” In a follow-up post, he called it “the biggest government scandal” of his lifetime.

According to the Daily Caller, the children’s deaths occurred in 2021 and 2022, but were not revealed until 2025.

One of the unnamed FDA officials who spoke to the outlet said, “One wonders if there was internal pressure at the FDA during that time not to report these pediatric deaths in a timely manner.”

Attorney Greg Glaser said the FDA’s “maneuvering to obscure the true devastation of these vaccines is the definition of a fraudulent act” to protect Big Pharma.

Johnson is asking the CDC to provide him with all records relating to its decision to award Pfizer new contracts for its COVID-19 shots, and all CDC and FDA records about child deaths related to COVID-19 vaccination and any deliberations that occurred over whether to change the labels of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Brian Hooker, Ph.D., chief scientific officer for Children’s Health Defense (CHD), said the number of child deaths linked to the COVID-19 shots is likely much higher, citing reports from the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). He said:

“VAERS reports (for U.S. only) show 84 child deaths (17 and under) from the COVID shot. We know that because of the gross underreporting of VAERS and the consistent efforts by the medical profession to mask vaccine deaths, 84 child deaths are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to mortality associated with the COVID shot.

“In light of this, it seems ridiculous to quibble over the HHS [U.S. Department of Health and Human Services] trying to reduce the number of deaths from 10 to 7. However, it belies the fact that when it comes to vaccines, the deep state within HHS, past and present, will lie through their teeth about a death or injury related to vaccines.”

LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho Resigns Months After FBI Raid

Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Superintendent Alberto Carvalho resigned effective June 21, months after the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) raided both his home and office.

In mid-February, FBI agents raided Carvalho’s home and office, as well as a third location in Miami. The FBI has not said what it is investigating regarding Carvalho or whether anything was seized during the raids.

Following the investigation, the LAUSD Board of Education unanimously voted to place Carvalho on paid administrative leave, NBC News reported.

“The Board remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring stability, continuity, and continued progress through strong leadership. Our focus remains unchanged: providing every student with a high-quality education, supporting our dedicated workforce, and maintaining the trust of the communities we serve,” LAUSD said in a statement provided to NBC.

Federal prosecutors have an open case against Joanna Smith-Griffin, founder of AllHere, a now-defunct tech company that LAUSD contracted to build a chatbot called “Ed” for students in the district. Federal prosecutors have charged Smith-Griffin with securities fraud, wire fraud, and identity theft.

By the time AllHere collapsed, LAUSD had paid more than $3 million in advance, according to NBC News. Carvalho had publicly supported “Ed” on numerous occasions.

Carvalho released a statement in March, following the initial FBI raid, maintaining his innocence: “Mr. Carvalho remains confident that the evidence will ultimately demonstrate that he acted appropriately and in the best interests of students.”

Carvalho’s name is not mentioned in the Smith-Griffin case, and he has not been charged with any crimes.

LAUSD said in a statement that Acting Superintendent Andrés Chait will continue in his role. Carvalho had been Superintendent since 2022.

IDF says it hit Hezbollah operatives in Lebanon, as new Jerusalem-Beirut talks begin in DC

Terror group claims civilians were killed, truce was violated; Lebanon’s Aoun voices hope that Washington talks will be ‘decisive,’ says he won’t accept less than full IDF withdrawal

The Israel Defense Forces said it struck armed Hezbollah operatives spotted near Israeli forces in southern Lebanon in two separate incidents on Tuesday, as Jerusalem and Beirut kicked off another round of direct talks in Washington.

In the first incident, the IDF said a cell of Hezbollah gunmen was spotted in the Ali Taher ridge area, close to Nabatieh and north of the Israeli-held security zone in southern Lebanon. It said the operatives were targeted by troops “to remove the threat.”

Lebanese media reported that Israeli fire in the area killed two and injured two in the incident.

Hezbollah disputed the claim that the targets of the strike were terror operatives, and accused Israel of opening fire on a “group of civilians” who were “working to clear roads and recover the bodies of martyrs from beneath the rubble” near Nabatieh.

The Iran-backed terror group claimed that in doing so, Israel had violated the terms of a ceasefire that has largely held since Sunday.

“What the enemy has done constitutes a blatant violation of the ceasefire, which [Hezbollah] has adhered to until now,” it added.

In a separate incident several hours later, the IDF said it fired on four Hezbollah operatives who crossed into Israel’s security zone in southern Lebanon.

According to the military, troops spotted the four Hezbollah operatives crossing into the zone in a bulldozer and on a motorcycle near the Ali Taher ridge, “in a manner that posed an immediate threat.”

After detecting the operatives, troops fired warning shots toward them.

“After the operatives continued to approach and did not respond to the forces’ calls, additional fire was carried out in order to remove the threat,” the military said, adding that at least one was hit.

The flare-up in southern Lebanon came as representatives from Beirut and Jerusalem gathered in Washington for another round of direct talks hosted by the US State Department.

Tuesday’s session was expected to focus on both political and security issues, before being split off into separate sessions on the two topics on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

Israel and Lebanon were represented at the talks by their respective ambassadors in Washington, while State Department Counselor Dan Holler and Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Dan Zimmerman represented the US.

US Billionaires Added $2.2 Trillion In One Year While Everyone Else Felt The Squeeze

America’s billionaires went from a combined $7.009 trillion net worth in June 2025 to $9.236 trillion one year later.

That is a gain of $2.227 trillion.

A 31.8% increase in just 12 months.

And the wildest part?

A huge chunk of that explosion came from the same place everyone keeps talking about:

AI.

The top 16 richest Americans alone added around $1.47 trillion.

Elon Musk went from about $421 billion to $1.285 trillion.

That is an $864 billion increase.

Rand Paul subpoenas Fauci for testimony in COVID origin probe

Paul is expected to question Fauci on whether he lied to Congress during the pandemic about whether his office had funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

Senate Homeland Security Chairman Rand Paul issued a subpoena Monday to force former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci to testify in front of his panel after the Biden administration official declined to do so voluntarily.

The senator claimed Fauci previously agreed to testify in front of the panel, but former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on her last day in office last week declassified a several-hundred-page agency report on Fauci related to when he was NIAID director, the COVID-19 pandemic and the continuing, unresolved issue of the origin of the deadly virus.

Paul said the new hearing will take place in a public forum next month.

"Last week, Anthony Fauci notified us he will NOT voluntarily testify before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, even though he had previously agreed to do so," Paul said on X. "Therefore, today I have issued a subpoena requiring him to testify before the Committee, in public, next month."

Paul is expected to question Fauci on whether he lied to Congress during the pandemic about whether his office had funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

Despite the evidence of a potential lab leak sickening workers at the Wuhan lab, Fauci has continued to double down on his claim that the COVID-19 virus had emerged naturally from a wet-market in the same areas as the lab, not a leak from the lab itself.

No date for the new hearing has been released.

Mysterious pay-for-play antisemitism attacks now targeting Canada. Who benefits?

A wave of strange property attacks targeting Jewish sites in Canada is attributed to apolitical youth paid in crypto. The violence follows the same playbook seen in Australia and the UK. While Iran and Palestine solidarity campaigners are blamed, Israel exploits the tension.

Canada is the latest in a string of nations to attribute a wave of high-profile but mostly low-consequence attacks to a mysterious online “gun-for-hire” plot. If Canada follows the pattern set in Australia, Europe and the UK, the “foreign entity” its government is already blaming for orchestrating the petty violence will be identified as Iran.

According to the Toronto Star, “Police believe that several young people have been hired to carry out shootings throughout the city and the wider GTA, including the U.S. consulate shooting, shootings at synagogues and Jewish schools, as well as shootings targeting the waste management company GFL Environmental.”

But there’s another nation with a history of hiring locals to perpetrate crimes, employing low-level violence to poison third-party bilateral relationships, fanning anti-semitism to justify its own carnage, and using local Jewish populations as pawns.

It is Israel, which happens to be the only nation to have extracted any political benefit for the growing wave of pay-for-play attacks on Jewish targets in the West.

Canadian police say consulate, synagogue shootings are linked to shooter-for-hire network

Canadian police recently announced that they believe many of the recent attacks on synagogues and other apparently unrelated targets are actually the work of paid criminal elements.

On June 16, police in Toronto said at least 27 shootings in the Greater Toronto Area appeared to be the work of a gun-for-hire network, in which mostly young men were recruited over encrypted messaging apps like Whatsapp to commit disparate acts of violence for which they’d be paid $1,000 in cryptocurrency. The gunmen film themselves committing the crimes as proof for their paymasters, they say.

Toronto Police Chief Myron Demkiw declared, “What we know is that bad actors are using criminal elements in our city to carry out these dangerous incidents” and that “it is clear that some of the people hiring these criminals want to create a sense of fear in our communities, including in the Jewish community.”

According to Demkiw, the identity of the person or group behind the attack was still a matter under investigation. However, Canadian Secretary of State for Combating Crime Ruby Sahota seems to have narrowed it down somewhat. She said on June 17 that “the shooters were paid and hired by a foreign entity.”

This is not the first time a foreign entity has been accused of orchestrating small scale attacks in a Commonwealth nation.

Tip from Israel leads Australian authorities to blame Iran for 2024 fire bombings

Last year, Australia came to the conclusion that a foreign entity was behind two fire bombings that occurred in late 2024, one at a kosher restaurant in Sydney and one at Adas Israel Synagogue in Melbourne – one of the few non-Zionist congregations in the country. The attacks generated outrage and were immediately attributed to antisemitism.

However, Australian authorities soon determined that “overseas actors” were instigating the attacks, and that the perpetrators were not antisemites, but paid dupes.

Two men were arrested last summer in connection with the attacks, and a third on June 19.

In August 2025, the Australian government declared that Iran had been behind the attacks, with the head of the Australian Security Intelligence Organization investigation saying a “painstaking investigation” had “uncovered and unpicked the links between the alleged crimes and the commanders in Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, the IRGC.”

This was difficult, as ASIO Director General Mike Burgess said Iran had used a “complex web of proxies to hide its involvement” in both antisemitic attacks.

Israeli government signs $40 million deal to launch pro-war propaganda campaign aimed at Christian Republicans

The state of Israel is spending a record amount of money in a desperate attempt to halt the collapse of its standing among American conservatives, an Israeli media outlet reported last week.

According to a June 18 article in the Israeli news outlet Haaretz, the Israeli government is paying $40.5 million for an influence campaign aimed at Christian Republicans. This is three times the budget originally allocated to the campaign, as the Israelis seek to reverse their plummeting approval ratings among Americans from whom they typically receive their most enthusiastic support.

This is damage control on steroids.

The campaign began with the signing of a public relations contract in November 2025, but now that campaign is being expanded with a refocused message in an attempt to justify the war in Iran, Haaretz reported.

Documents filed with the U.S. Justice Department further reveal that Israel has signed a new contract with a New York production company to produce a pro-Israel digital storytelling campaign, at a cost of nearly $1 million, Haaretz reported.

The Trump administration launched the war against Iran on Feb. 28, largely on the advice of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who reportedly met with President Trump in the White House situation room on Feb. 11, two weeks before the war started and convinced Trump that Iran’s government could be toppled within days or weeks. The war lasted nearly four months and the hardline regime is still firmly in place in Tehran. Both Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump himself have since admitted the decision to attack Iran was made not because it was necessarily the best thing for America but because it was thought to have benefitted Israel. Even that is now debatable.

The war did not achieve any of its initial objectives despite having cost American taxpayers tens of billions of dollars. An estimate from Moody’s Analytics said the war has already cost U.S. consumers and taxpayers around $132 billion.

Haaretz revealed last November that Israel had signed agreements worth millions of dollars with American content and media companies to run pro-Israel campaigns aimed at Christian conservatives on its behalf, against the backdrop of the plunge in support for Israel since the war in Gaza, including among segments of the public traditionally considered pro-Israel.

The central contract, worth $6 million, was signed with a public relations firm owned by Brad Parscale, who ran U.S. President Donald Trump’s digital election campaigns in 2016 and 2020. In February, Haaretz exposed some of the products that the firm delivered, chief among them a network of propaganda sites featuring pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian content, designed to appear neutral and factual. The sites’ central aim was to influence the answers provided by search engines and AI-based chatbots.

Since then, Israel’s standing on the American right has deteriorated even further. Polls conducted in March, at the height of the war with Iran, show this trend is especially strong among young Republicans. According to a survey by the Pew Research Center, about 41 percent of Republicans and 57 percent of young Republicans (under 50) hold a negative view of Israel. Overall, about 60 percent of Americans now hold a negative view of Israel, compared with 53 percent last year and 42 percent in 2022. Americans’ trust in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also declining: Nearly 60 percent of the American public doesn’t trust Netanyahu’s decision-making on the international stage, compared with 52 percent last year and 42 percent in 2023.

Documents recently filed by Parscale’s firm under the U.S. Foreign Agents Registration Act show that its agreement with the Israeli government has been updated and expanded, so that the state is now paying $4.5 million a month for the campaign instead of $1.5 million, bringing the total to $40.5 million for “digital advertising” over the course of a year.

Cyberattack Hit Iranian Banks After Progress In Talks With U.S.

Iran’s state-owned Informatics Services Corporation (ISC) announced on June 23 that cyberattacks disrupted card-based banking services at the banks of Melli, Saderat and Tejarat.

This prompted a temporary suspension of all card-related operations at the three banks to prevent further unauthorized access, the banking technology provider told state TV, noting that cybersecurity teams are working to restore normal operations.

The company’s public relations head also said that ATM services, point-of-sale terminals and mobile applications linked to card systems were all affected.

Meanwhile, the London-based Persian-language Iran International also reported a serious distribution in service as a result of the same cyberattack in the banks of Pasargad, Mellat, Sepah, Tose’e Ta’avon, and Resalat. The distribution in these five banks may be, however, the result of the temporary suspension implemented by the ISC.

Major banks including Melli, Saderat, Tejarat and the Export Development Bank of Iran have faced disruptions first reported on June 14 after a cyberattack targeting a shared communication infrastructure, Iran’s banking coordination council said at the time. Iranian state media said those took several days to resolve.

The earlier cyberattack did not compromise customer data, according to Iranian officials, who didn’t identify the side responsible.

Iran previously blamed hostile foreign actors, namely Israel, for similar cyberattacks, and in many cases there was evidence of this.

The latest incident came just a day after the United States lifted sanctions on Iranian oil exports for a temporary period as a result of “encouraging” talks with the Islamic Republic in Switzerland in the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed earlier in the month.

It is more than likely that the cyberattack was orchestrated by Israel in response to this progress in the American-Iranian talks. While Israel has not outright rejected the deal, many of its senior officials made it clear that they were not fully pleased with it.

Former New Hampshire State Representative and Massachusetts Daycare Worker Sentenced to Decades in Prison for Child Exploitation

BOSTON – A New Hampshire woman, formerly employed at a daycare in Tyngsborough, Mass., and her former intimate partner have been sentenced in federal court in Boston for child exploitation and child pornography charges.

Lindsay Groves, 41, of Hudson, N.H., was sentenced on June 2, 2026 by U.S. Senior District Court Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV to 262 months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release. Stacie Marie Laughton, 42, of Nashua, N.H., a former New Hampshire State Representative, was sentenced on June 18, 2026 by U.S. Senior District Court Judge F. Dennis Saylor IV to 400 months in prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release. In October and November of 2025, the defendants pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual exploitation of children. Groves also pleaded guilty to one count of distribution of child pornography.

Groves and Laughton were arrested and charged by criminal complaint in June 2023 and July 2023, respectively. They were both subsequently indicted by a federal grand jury in July 2023.

“Parents rely on daycare centers to provide safe, nurturing and heathy environments for their children. These defendants exploited parents’ trust in the most egregious way imaginable. All to satisfy their disgusting prurient interests. The victims in this case were toddlers – children who were not yet old enough to care for themselves and, in some cases, not even fully verbal. Everyone who learns about the conduct in this case should be outraged. The defendants striped these children of their innocence – something that can never be undone,” said United States Attorney Leah B. Foley. “The sentences imposed reflect the depravity of the conduct and the seriousness of the crimes. My office will seek the most serious charges and the stiffest sentences for anyone who preys on children.”

“This is one of the most abhorrent and disturbing crimes ever investigated by this office. It represents a profound violation of trust and the safety of vulnerable children. Groves and Laughton exploited their positions and betrayed the trust of parents and the community,” said Jeff Grimming, Acting Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New England. “There are few crimes more disturbing than the sexual assault of a child, and no person more disturbing than one who stands accused of preying upon the most innocent members of our communities. HSI New England will continue to prioritize public safety by working tenaciously to remove child sex predators from our New England neighborhoods.”

Groves worked at Creative Minds located in Tyngsborough, Mass. Between May 2022 and June 2023, Groves took nude images of children at the daycare and sent the photos to Laughton, with whom she was previously in an intimate relationship. Specifically, Groves used natural bathroom breaks for the children (routine diaper/pull-up changes prior to “naptime”) to take multiple photos of the prepubescent children in a private bathroom and then sent the photos to Laughton via text message at Laughton’s request.

Forensic review of Grove’s and Laughton’s cellphones revealed over 10,000 text messages between them during an approximate one-month period in 2023. These messages included discussion about, and transfer of, explicit photographs that Groves had taken of children while employed at Creative Minds – including at least four sexually explicit images of children who appear to be approximately three to five years old.

All minor victims involved in this matter have been identified and their families have been contacted by law enforcement.
