Part of "saving yourself" involves the search for 'what' can really will save you. Nobody who is honest believes they can "save themselves". Everyone dies. The matter then becomes what happens after one dies. Seek the only one who has promised a future 'You', a perfected 'You' after you after physical death: Jesus Christ.
