We did it!!! The A-10 has properties no other plane in the inventory has. Once air superiority is established, this is a low slow heavy slinger of depleted uranium shells. Jets fly too fast, 500 mph, to cover fast boats and drones, leaving vulnerable pilots only 1 1/2 seconds to target with much more expensive missiles. Whereas, the A-10 can fly at half that speed, allowing up to 4 seconds of targeting due to small bursts of gunfire actually slowing down plane up to 45%, while also protecting the pilots in a tub of titanium capable of taking .50 cal bullets and some small rockets that would otherwise cause a man down situation. The bullets travel faster than the sound of the engines, and by the time you hear the brrrt, it's over. Great decision.
