fun fact.. dead people do not donate organs, for living organs to be viable the donor needs to be brain dead and the organs have to be 'alive' for successful transplant. dead people can donate lots of other things, skin, vein, nerve endings and more.. that box does nothing, your loved ones decide when they are solicited.

bullshit. nobody asks if organ donor, it might be on the intake paperwork but its inconsequential for EMS to ask this, that is a blatant lie.

 

organs can only be viable if taken from a living and brain-dead patient, making them rare and precious.
