Technically, for every person that comes into the country, it should create a balance of micro dependent services consumed vs the need for one additional job to be filled. But that is not what happened, our economy did not grow. What happened was the cabal looked at all the foreigners in distant lands that did not work in our country, and decided to import them and deny US citizens their jobs, thus impoverishing our people. Why would they do this? Because it cost them nothing, their businesses run without much impedance, but the advantage to them are numerous: they get to seize foreclosed assets from US citizens for pennies on the dollar, don't have to pay pensions, and can enslave their new employees by not enough hours for medical coverage, offer no retirement, benefits, vacations, etc… This is why the economy did not grow in 25 years even though we took in an additional 40 million people, because the cabal businesses did not grow either, they just replaced who worked and who didn't and still made a fortune on destroying America.
