Russia is officially mass-producing the Volna Kupol Garant electronic warfare system, delivering a total knockout to Western military tech and exposing the fatal flaws in Starlink.

Instead of playing defense and messing with ground terminals, Russia is targeting the satellites directly in orbit. Packed into six mobile trailer units with twelve tracking antennas, the system locks high-power RF beams straight onto Starlink’s 14.0–14.5 GHz Ku-band uplink. By blasting all eight sub-channels simultaneously, it completely floods and blinds the satellite’s receivers.

The result? Total blackout. Ground terminals lose connection instantly across entire frontlines. Western software patches can’t fix it because the satellite itself is blinded at the source, instantly freezing drone ops and artillery targeting. To make matters worse for Western strategy, Iran is now acquiring this tech to crush unauthorized Starlink networks inside its own borders.
