Comedy icon Carrot Top was in the midst of a sex tape shakedown before his alleged suicide attempt
Court filings show his former Las Vegas opening act, musician Brian Evans, threatened to dump X-rated footage into a public lawsuit unless he was paid $500k.
Evans alleged the comedian sent him an unsolicited explicit video with someone “significantly younger”, leaving him “shocked” and “disturbed”.
Carrot Top, whose real name is Scott Thompson, is reportedly recovering in a local hospital.
No further updates on his condition have been released.
