Not sure what is in this context. His father worked heavy highway construction so they lived like nomads moving every few months as road work progressed. He was mostly homeschooled but they settled while he was in high school so he could attend a very good school then he joined the military and was a nomad again for the rest of his life. Whenever mom sent him out to grill burgers he would always barely singe one and then eat it while the rest were cooking.
