California Citizens Struggle Financially While the State Spends $11 Billion Per Year on Illegal Aliens

California allows noncitizens to receive health care, rental assistance, college grants, tax credits, low-cost car insurance, and even smartphones on the taxpayers’ dime. Last year, California taxpayers spent at least $11 billion subsidizing illegal immigrants. Meanwhile, ordinary Californians are depleting their savings, working long hours, and taking on tons of debt simply to pay the bills.

Under Gavin Newsom’s social contract, working Americans must not only contend with rising taxes and ballooning living costs but also bear the burden of financing benefits for illegal immigrants and their families. In other states, citizenship establishes who qualifies for taxpayer-funded benefits. In California, citizenship merely determines who pays.

Nolan Wells Case: Grand Jury Says No Evidence of a Crime. Nolan’s White Friends Have Been Threatened

Mississippi: On July 4, 2026, Nolan Wells, a black 18-year old man, went to a party on an island, traveling by boat with his white friends to attend the gathering with about 300 of his former high school classmates.

He did not go home when his friends left, and he reportedly told them he would find another way home. Wells’ body was found on the shoreline two days later. Investigators initially reported that there was no evidence of foul play and that drowning was suspected.

Wells’ family retained attorney Benjamin Crump, who represented George Floyd’s family and has been criticized for racializing high profile cases. Crump speculated that foul play was involved in Wells’ death and he alleged racial bias in the investigation. The internet was set afire with misinformation and accusations of murder and racism against Wells’ white friends.

A grand jury declined to bring criminal charges in the case. Nolan Wells’ white friends have been harassed and have received death threats after being defamed in the media and across the internet. Their attorneys plan to sue Benjamin Crump, Al Sharpton, Sunny Hostin and others.

Nolan Wells’ Friends Respond To Bomb Threats: ‘We Refuse to Be Intimidated

Attorneys representing Nolan Wells‘ friends are speaking out against bomb threats they say have been made against their clients … in the wake of claims that Snapchat messages were deleted from Nolan’s phone.

In a Friday press release … attorneys Edward Andrew Paltzik and Tyler Cox said Nolan’s pals Jax Pitalo, Warren Hudson and Morgan Seymour “refuse to be intimidated by today’s litany of bomb and death threats.”

The legal team added that these threats came from people “outside the community.”

They said that the “lowlifes” who made these threats did so after the late teen’s family lawyer Ben Crump claimed that messages from his phone had been deleted from the time he last used it to when the phone was given to his family.

Cox and Paltzik go on to accuse Crump of stirring “runaway speculation and wild sensationalism.”

Meanwhile, Jackson County District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath has also called outCrump’s claims … saying that “the user action discussed by [Crump’s team] is from other Snapchat users, not someone physically accessing Nolan Wells’ phone.”

To end their statement, Cox and Paltzik — who previously said they intend to sue Crump for defamation — dramatically wrote … “As we have said before, consequences are coming. We are coming. And Hell is coming with us.”
