Colossal Iceberg Collapses and Flips Over in Ilulissat, Greenland in 4K! (July 25, 2026)

Watch the complete collapse and rollover of a massive iceberg near Ilulissat, Greenland, on July 25, 2026.

Non-Timelapse version (55min long): • Jul 25, 2026: Massive Iceberg Co…

Captured continuously by the AfarTV 4K livestream, this video shows the entire event unfolding over approximately one hour—not just the brief final rollover seen in shorter clips shared around the world.

At the beginning of the footage, the enormous iceberg towers above the surrounding water. Cracks and structural failures gradually cause large sections of ice to break away and crash into the sea. Each collapse changes the shape and balance of the iceberg, triggering further ice avalanches, clouds of mist and waves spreading across the water.

As more of the exposed structure falls away, the remaining iceberg becomes increasingly unstable. It eventually rolls with tremendous force, lifting part of its previously submerged underside above the surface. The newly exposed ice appears darker, rougher and more jagged because it had been hidden underwater before the iceberg overturned.

Icebergs float in a balance between their weight and the buoyant force of the surrounding seawater, with most of their mass below the surface. Melting, erosion and the loss of large sections can shift an iceberg’s centre of gravity. When its existing position is no longer stable, the iceberg may suddenly rotate into a new orientation. The resulting capsize can displace a large volume of water and produce powerful local waves.

This event occurred beside Ilulissat on Greenland’s west coast, near the entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Ilulissat Icefjord. The fjord is filled with ice originating from Sermeq Kujalleq, also known as Jakobshavn Glacier, one of the fastest-moving and most active glaciers in the world.

You can experience this exact view in person by staying at this beautiful ocean front home in Ilulissat, Greenland. This home is located in one of the absolute best locations in Ilulissat, where you can hear the sea just outside as well as the smell of the ice from Ilulissat Isfjord. Large icebergs can remain grounded or trapped near the mouth of the icefjord while they melt, fracture and become small enough to move into Disko Bay. It is not known precisely when this particular iceberg originally separated from the glacier.

No injuries were reported in connection with the collapse.

This is the complete, unedited AfarTV recording of the event, preserving its gradual development, natural sound and full scale.

origin

Ilulissat means "icebergs" in the Greenlandic language (Kalaallisut).

Origin and Meaning

• Literal Translation: The word ilulissat is the plural form of iluluusaq or iluliaq, which translates directly to icebergs.

• Geographic Connection: The town is named after the massive icebergs that calve from the nearby Sermeq Kujalleq glacier and run aground at the mouth of the Ilulissat Icefjord (known locally as Kangia).

• Historical Name: The town was originally established as a Danish trading post in 1741 by merchant Jacob Severin and named Jakobshavn (meaning "Jacob's Harbor") in his honor. Over time, the traditional Greenlandic name Ilulissat became the official name.

In this video, Buck Angel sits down with fellow trans man Jake to react to girls who say they are NOT trans, have NO gender dysphoria, but want top surgery as body modification — while still using the trans medical space to get it.

As transsexual men who transitioned years ago and lived with gender dysphoria, Buck and Jake break down clip-by-clip why this trend is so controversial, what it means for real trans men who need care, and why calling top surgery an accessory is so harmful to the community.

This is one of the most honest conversations we've had about top surgery, gender dysphoria, and where body autonomy ends and medical appropriation begins. They’re Targeting Your Home Computer Now

Buying a computer and disconnecting it from the internet to maintain your privacy is quietly becoming a national security risk. Big Tech and government regulators are actively engineering the truly sovereign, offline personal computer out of existence. Through invasive operating system updates like Windows 11's Recall, constant background screen-recording, and local file searches that ping corporate servers, your machine is being transformed into a surveillance tool. Driven by the threat of decentralized AI, tech giants are now lobbying to classify unrestricted local compute power as a hazardous weapon, ensuring that your private data is forced through their heavily monitored cloud terminals where even personal diary entries can be reported to law enforcement.

Argentine beef sold in the U.S. is not subject to mandatory country-of-origin retail labeling (COOL) for many cuts—particularly ground beef and blended products—due to federal rules repealed by Congress in 2015.

Key Labeling Facts

• Whole Cuts vs. Ground Beef: While some imported whole-cut packages may show a country-of-origin label, ground beef or imported meat blended with domestic beef is not legally required to state that it comes from Argentina.

• Blended Meat: Imported Argentine beef is frequently mixed into U.S. ground beef packages without a clear, prominent disclosure of its foreign origin.

• Voluntary U.S. Labels: Labels like "Product of the USA" only apply strictly if the animal was exclusively born, raised, harvested, and processed in the United States, though general imported stickers or fine print near the ingredient/nutrition list may sometimes identify foreign imports.

• Forum Consensus: Users discussing the transparency of meat labeling on platforms like Reddit generally agree that federal rules lack strict mandatory country-of-origin disclosures for all beef categories, leaving consumers unable to easily track non-domestic sources.

Mixing beef from different countries—especially when blended into mass-produced ground beef or hamburger patties—carries several regulatory, health, and economic risks:

Food Safety and Regulatory Risks

• Variable Safety and Drug Standards: Different countries maintain varying rules regarding veterinary drugs, growth hormones, and antibiotics.

For example, imports from nations like Brazil or Argentina have faced scrutiny or restrictions (such as EU bans or flags over antibiotic misuse and prohibited drugs like chloramphenicol).

• Traceability and Labeling Gaps: When foreign beef is blended with domestic beef or processed domestically, tracking a specific outbreak, contamination event, or recall back to the original herd or country becomes much harder.

Misleading "Product of USA" labeling rules have historically allowed foreign-raised and slaughtered beef to be packaged locally and labeled as domestic.

• Pathogen Distribution: Grinding meat spreads any surface bacteria (such as E. coli, Salmonella, or Listeria) evenly throughout the entire batch.

Mixing cuts from multiple foreign and domestic plants amplifies the volume of product affected if a single lot is contaminated or misses mandatory re-inspection.

• Inspection Lapses: Large surges in imported volume can strain port-of-entry re-inspection systems managed by the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service, leading to occasional administrative or safety recalls (such as uninspected shipments entering commerce).

Economic and Market Risks

• Price Pressures on Domestic Producers: Flooding domestic markets with cheaper imported trim or lean grass-fed beef (such as from Australia or South America) drives down cattle prices for local ranchers while keeping consumer-facing burger prices high.

• Supply Chain Concentration: Heavy reliance on global mega-packers reduces market resilience and shifts control toward multinational supply chains.
