Someone seems to be spreading the myth that the US government will not help with the fires in California. Simply not true. We had a close call in my neck of the woods today and the United States Fire Service plane was here to help. along with one hundred fire fighters and a ton of aircraft. Breathing a sigh of relief, but super tense when it came so close.
>>2520346 She's scared.
>>2520348 Weird occurences with a nearby fire here today. I am in the hills in Northern California. One hundred firefighters descended on a hill to douse a fifty acre fire in the middle of tons of fuel in the form of redwoods.
The water helicopter kept going over my house, even though a huge reservoir was next to the fire. They were not getting water from the reservoir. Later in the day, they were flying all the way to Lake Berryessa, a long way from Nicasio, to get water. Totally bizarre. They could not use the reservoir water right next to the acres on fire.
Misplaced priorities.
By Petaluma Pt. Reyes Road. The Nicasio Reservoir. Why were they flying so far away for water?
>>2520421 In the hills. Hard to get to on wheels. Tough terrain. We did arrest someone trying to start a fire in the open space this last week in the center of my county. But, up in the hills.
There was one big United States Federal Fire Service plane in the air. Just have not seen any pictures of what it did. But I did see pictures of the helicopters dropping water and saw them go over my house.
>>2520521 I think that must be what they sent to Lake Berryessa, then. A big plane to get big water. I saw that plane on radar go to Lake Berryessa. It was federal.
