Your comment comes across as sour grapes.

SRP is only one of a handful of power companies in Arizona. The largest, by far, is Arizona Public Service company, which IS regulated by the corp. comm.

Being regulated hasn't held APS' rates below those of SRP's. SRP's rates are consistently lower. Your comment that SRP hates competition could be said of every business of any size.

Full disclosure: I've never worked for SRP, but have worked WITH them as well as having worked with several other power companies in Arizona and surrounding states.
