Always felt Snowden & Assange were plants of some sort in the bigger puppetgame.
I suspected they were vying for street cred, brownie points with the public in order to ultimately subvert that public. We've since seen that part of that might be the case with things as Secure Drop or that journalism collective Snowden is part of. Ideal for the clowns to have a foot in the door IMO.
