I didn't want to say this earlier but one of the Haiti articles Q posted stated that WJC was already a UN special envoy to Haiti when the earthquake hit. The thought crossed my mind that they put him in place first then triggered a quake.
I decided that there were probably other more reasonable motives for him having his hand in that country before the quake. Not so sure now that my initial suspicion was unreasonable.
