Sidenote: Spieden Island on WA/CAN border was owned by a bunch of Alaskan Airlines execs (incl. Ron Cosgrove) after the property company was spun off from Alaska Airlines in 1978.

They are the ones who sold the island to current owner Jim Jannard in 1997.
