Has anyone put this together yet?

Why are Omarosa and Cohen (Both previously known for their loyalty to POTUS) leaking confidential tapes, which show POTUS and team doing things by the book, into the media when it only puts themselves in legal trouble?

Could it be that they are just readying the public for tape recordings? They do have it all and one of the only ways the public is going to accept what they are about to find out is if they hear the voices they trust talking about horrible acts.
