RNC $100 million ahead of DNC after another record-breaking month of fundraising

he Republican National Committee continued its record-setting year of fundraising in July by pulling in $14.2 million last month — more than it raised in the same month in 2010 and 2014 combined, the organization confirmed to the Washington Examiner Monday morning.

The new July total is also the most the GOP group has ever received in any month during a nonpresidential election year.

Since the beginning of the 2018 election cycle, the RNC has now hauled in $227.2 million. The Democratic National Committee has raised less than half that amount - $109 million - as of the end of June, according to Federal Election Commission records.

Two Individuals Charged for Acting as Illegal Agents of the Government of Iran

An indictment was returned today charging Ahmadreza Mohammadi-Doostdar, 38, a dual U.S.-Iranian citizen, and Majid Ghorbani, 59, an Iranian citizen and resident of California, with allegedly acting on behalf of the government of the Islamic Republic of Iran by conducting covert surveillance of Israeli and Jewish facilities in the United States, and collecting identifying information about American citizens and U.S. nationals who are members of the group Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK).

The charges were announced by Assistant Attorney General for National Security John Demers, U.S. Attorney Jessie K. Liu for the District of Columbia, and Acting Executive Assistant Director Michael McGarrity of the FBI’s National Security Branch.

“The National Security Division is committed to protecting the United States from individuals within our country who unlawfully act on behalf of hostile foreign nations,” said Assistant Attorney General Demers. “Doostdar and Ghorbani are alleged to have acted on behalf of Iran, including by conducting surveillance of political opponents and engaging in other activities that could put Americans at risk. With their arrest and these charges, we are seeking to hold the defendants accountable.”

“This indictment demonstrates the commitment of the Department of Justice to hold accountable agents of foreign governments who act illegally within the United States, especially where those agents are conducting surveillance of individuals and Constitutionally-protected activities in this country,” said Jessie K. Liu, United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.

Saudi Arabia May Execute First Woman for Supporting Political Protests

State prosecutors in Saudi Arabia are calling for the death penalty for Israa al-Ghomgham, a human rights activist from Qatif who was arrested in 2015. If executed, it will be the first time the country has carried out capital punishment on a woman.

Ghomgham was arrested in December 2015 for "anti-establishment activities," the Al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper reported. She has been in detention for 32 months but was recently put before the specialized criminal court (SCC) in Riyadh. The European Saudi Organization for Human Rights (ESOHR) described the court, responsible for implementing the notorious 2017 counterrorism law, as being "under total control by the king, and therefore many of these trials are merely show trial and have pre-determined outcomes which serve the narrative of the state."

Sick of these low class, potty mouth imbeciles.

Kevin Hart shocks with lewd Trump dig at 2018 MTV VMAs, tells audience they can kneel

"This game you're allowed to kneel," Hart said while presenting with fellow comedian Tiffany Haddish.

He continued: "You can do whatever you want there's no old white men to stop you."

Hart, 39, also said the award show was like "a typical day at the White House."

“Beefs pop off, bad language, people run to the bathroom and send out crazy tweets,” Hart said. "It's basically like a typical day at the White House. In your face Trump, suck it."

Earlier this month, NFL players continued to protest during the national anthem on August 9 as the league began the first full week of its 2018 preseason.
