On the mirror idea, that's how it SHOULD work. I'm not sure it has been translating that well in practice. If it worked, the media should have put some attention on WJC's rapes. And yet everyone got stuck on something that DJT merely said and apologized for (and some are still stuck on it). Unless something has been done to turn MSM, there are no guarantees that mirroring done in the way suggested in your post will work as intended. After all, we're dealing with a media that won't even acknowledges the grand successes such as the nuclear disarmament of the Koreas.

Wait a minute. Something isn't adding up. Spouse at home was trying to catch me up a bit with what is going on at home, and he said Manafort had been convicted. That isn't true?

I'll be so glad to be home. I've got at least a week to go to wrap up stuff here.

The only gain I can think of for hiding a conviction like that would be to prevent people from saying that it was politically motivated. Meanwhile, leftists will continue to believe that political violence is ok. How are they to learn otherwise if punishments are hidden?
