Thanks, I saved both. I already got in trouble for talking too much this bread. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for these. I love this bird more than you know, he is a gentle soul who was kept with a mate as an unsuccessful breeding pair for 20 years (his mate died). When I got him he was so traumatized by the move & transport that he threw up :(
He was panting and scared, I thought he was going to have a heart attack… I bravely offered my arm, fully expecting to be mauled.
Even after 20+ years of no direct human contact he happily jumped on my arm and was glad for the help. He snuggled up to my chest and calmed down.
